8-2 at this stage of the playoffs.

Sticking with my Super Bowl pick from the 2021 Prediction thread back in September - Chiefs and 49ers win this weekend

  • Registered Users Posts: 40,004 ✭✭✭✭Itssoeasy

5-5 in the playoffs after a poor last weekend.

    Bengals @ Chiefs

    Niners @ Rams

I'll go Chiefs and 49ers. No reasons why

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,953 ✭✭✭amacca

    I'll go bengals and rams

    Pure uneducated guess really

Lived in LA for a year, enjoyed watching them in the coliseum under mc vay in recent years so I'll take them over 49ers even though I enjoy watching kittle and deebo work......like Burrow feel like he's a bit of an underdog vs mahomes and I can't help rooting for the underdog even though I like the chiefs.

I've gone for Chiefs and 49ers.

Posted my 49ers logic extensively on this thread, it comes down to the 49ers run game vs the Rams run defense, and then both pass rushes against the O-lines.

I think SF can move the ball, long drives, limit possessions. If they can do that its difficult for the Rams, given I think the niners D-line will be able to tee off. Trent Williams is huge, if he is out it might be adv LA.

If it turns into a shootout I think LA comes out on top.

For the chiefs, they are just so good on offense, they need to limit the turnovers. I think they put up 30+ easily enough. For the bengals, I'm not sure they'll be able to keep pace.

In week 17 they held KC to 3 second half points, even then it needed an historic Burrows/Chase performance and some beneficial officiating calls.

I just thing too much has to go right for cinci, so Chiefs/49ers for me.

I love Andy Reid and you can't not love Patrick Mahomes but everytmme I see Hill I want the Chiefs to lose.

I'm expecting a Chiefs win and hoping for a Rams win.

I think Stafford deserves a ring after his hard graft in Detroit for so long and that Rams D is well tailored to beating the chiefs.

Whether they can get past the 9ers though is another question...

Uzomah a big loss....at least bengals have something on the board.

They did well to make it down there, I thought bengals were going to be punting several times in that possession.

I wonder will there be more touchdowns, or more connection issues between the Sky studio and "Baldy"...

Bizarre they stick with him as a remote guest as there's a good 5-6 connection issues per game with him for the last few weeks.

He's a great analyst though, well worth sticking with him imo.

Patrick Mahomes came to play 😎

Why is a remote guest. I pretty sure he used to be in the studio.

On the aerial shots is that a bunch of fans outside the stadium in the corners of the stadium. Are they watching on Big screens?

    Chiefs look too good here.

  • Registered Users Posts: 40,867 ✭✭✭✭Xavi6

Three drives, three touchdowns. This is going very well.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,989 ✭✭✭Ohmeha

This Chiefs team on both sides of the ball looking so slick and impressive, I really will be amazed if they don't lift the Lombardi in two weeks

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,953 ✭✭✭amacca

It's looking ominous for bengals.........we in miracle comeback territory already...

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,753 ✭✭✭standardg60

Bengals cannot allow a TD here

  • Registered Users Posts: 40,867 ✭✭✭✭Xavi6

Should’ve taken the 3 to end the half given they get the ball back again.

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,953 ✭✭✭amacca

That's something of a reprieve for Bengals....chiefs should've taken the 3 points there.

  • Registered Users Posts: 38,497 ✭✭✭✭eagle eye

So the Chiefs offense get pi calls against the defense but the Bengals don't.

Delighted they didn't get any points there.

Big stop there before the half keeps the Bengals in with a bit of a shout.

    Super stop there

  • Registered Users Posts: 40,004 ✭✭✭✭Itssoeasy

The bengals get the stop which may be crucial.

  • Registered Users Posts: 18,010 ✭✭✭✭paulie21

Yeah surprised at an experienced coach like Reid not taking the 3 points

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,226 ✭✭✭el Fenomeno

Should have just taken then FG with 5 seconds to go. Might not matter, but Andy Reid just loves a good clock mismanagement.

  • Registered Users Posts: 40,867 ✭✭✭✭Xavi6

Who decided to put the CBS half time show on the field? 😂

  • Registered Users Posts: 40,004 ✭✭✭✭Itssoeasy

eagles fans know all about that legendary clock mismanagement.

  • Registered Users Posts: 40,004 ✭✭✭✭Itssoeasy

Well that CBS halftime report was a mess.

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,100 ✭✭✭McFly85

Close enough to keep it interesting but the Chiefs offense is just too good. Can’t see any way back for the Bengals

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,753 ✭✭✭standardg60

Crucial drive here again, Bengals DL need to get some pass pressure going.

Wonder will we see a turnover this half
