MA silver atmos set up

Hi guys,

Been doing some extension recently and I'm looking to scope out a fresh atmos set up.

I bought monitor audio bronze surround from you a few years ago.

Recently I got a pair of silver 300 floorstanders.

I've wired the room with 2 side and two ceiling speakers about the seating position. I also need a centre and sub and an atmosphere receiver.

I've also wired speakers into two other rooms for future ambitions. I don't think my budget would stretch to an 11 channel receiver but you may have other suggestions.

I can go in wall for the side and centre with about 36cm width between studs.

Can you recommend something to compliment the silvers and the above set up?

Budget is "budget friendly" after a build with as little compromise sound as possible. Bear in mind I'm coming from bronze surround with fx speakers and could use some of those speakers if you think that'd work out.

If you didn't want to go in-wall for the side you could use your current Bronze FX speakers.

The silver sub is expensive amd I was looking for gloss black which costs even more.

Can you still get the c350? And if not how would the in wall centre that you suggest compare?

Hey GG66.

There is a Silver C250 available priced at 699 Euro for the Gloss Black version

Compared to the in wall above the C250 would have better clarity for vocals and is in theory the next step up above the in wall C150.

Of course when you have narrowed down which items you think will suit I can see what deal I can work you the package :)

Thanks, I see you have MA silver 50 at clearance. I probably have space for these as side speakers. How do they compare with the in wall you suggested?

Once I've made mind up I'll see what you can offer as a package. It always seems to turn out alright :-)

Hi GG66,

The Silver 50s are a really good speaker. They wouldn't be as convenient as the in walls as you'd need to mount them and the profile would be much wider but the Silver 50s have a real wood cabinet so the sound quality would be a bit better!
