I was thinking that. The late postponements and Ronaldo out screwed up FH people. I was really worried not having Ronaldo. Hopefully from my perspective if he starts v Brentford he does not go mad with fpl points. A one point cameo would be ideal.

It looks like it could well come down to a tie breaker this week.

Cantona's seagulls and Trimm Trabbs are both on 24 with King to play

Journeymen are on 26 with Foster to play (de Gea as Sub if he doesn't)

There are a few permutations if Foster doesn't play as 3 others are on 28 + Foster and different sub keeps to come in if he doesn't get a game.

It wouldn’t be for them to confirm as such though, so more likely there has just been some confusion along the way with posts or whatever it was.

I don’t remember there being any controversy with tiebreakers before, obviously if anyone has any additional information, I’d be happy to take a look to ensure absolute fairness.

For instance, I posted in the first post in this thread that the usual FPL tiebreakers apply incase of a draw.

As Far as I know the Cup Tie Breakers used to be Goals Scored, then Assists and then OR so in the past that is what we have used for a Tie Breaker.

However the rules of Cups and Head to Heads this year seems to have changed this year to:

1) Most goals scored in the Gameweek

2) Fewest goals conceded in the Gameweek

3) Virtual coin toss

Not sure How we would do a Virtual Coin toss if it came to it?

Also I am not sure if all players (including forwards?) are used to calculate number of goals conceded. Proabbly a good idea to have it cleared up before tomorrow.

I’m fairly sure it was always fewest goals conceded ahead of assists unless I’ve lost my memory somewhere along the line. I’d clarified the exact situation in a previous post in one of the threads anyway. I’ll have a look because you’ve got me doubting myself now!!!

Found the clarification below, I'll put this in post 1 each year to avoid any such confusion going forward:

Tiebreakers will be managed by:

1) Total goals scored in your team (captains count as 2)

2) Total assists made in your team (captains also count as 2)

3) Overall Rank

4) Cointoss
