Chelsea defenders showing the Chelsea forwards how to score this season.

Plymouth miss a penalty in the 118th mintue that would more than likely have brought the game to pens.

West Ham score the winner in the 121st mintue.

State of west ham celebrations, as if they won the Champions League!!

I would have said so and interfering with play however no VAR is allowed to used in staduims outside of the Premier League clubs in the FA Cup.

Man City 1 Fulham 1 after 6 minutes.

The Liverpool target Carvahlo put Fulham 1 up before Gundgan scored the City goal.

City go 2-1 up through Stones.

Interfering with play is if you touch the ball, attempt to touch the ball or block the goalie’s view? None of which he was.

Think it's safe enough now to enjoy last night's hilarity. Work will be fun come monday morning.

Awful decision in the Man U game last night to allow the equaliser. Any rule change that allows that to stand is a poor rule change. Accidental or not, the goal should not have stood.

    Disappointed for Plymouth and Harriers.

Rodgers under real pressure if he loses this.

B-rod playing 4-d chess here, get himself sacked so Man U dont have to fork out anything to hire him in the summer!

Rodgers will surely be under serious pressure now. Out of Europe, out of the fa cup and well off the pace in the league

Steve Cooper has done job since taking over at Forrest.

    Back to Scotland for Rodgers?

Spence looks like a real good footballer be interesting to see how he develops. Copper seems to know how to develop young players from his time with England

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,725 ✭✭✭✭blueser

What a f***ing idiot. He'll be looking at a stretch in prison and, more than likely, a lifetime ban. And for what? What did he achieve by that?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,033 ✭✭✭✭Richard Hillman

Always amazes me how middle aged, overweight, drunk football fans think they could take on professional athletes.

I remember a Spurs fan thought he would punch Frank Lampard and he seemlessly ducked him

Leicester fans also attacked a pub in Nottingham too.

Boreham take the lead against Bournemouth.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 60,912 ✭✭✭✭Agent Coulson

    Boreham Wood deserved winners.

Wow Nile Ranger of Newcastle fame from 10/12 years ago is a Boreham Wood player these days came on for the last 2 minutes to make his debut.

    Wasnt he jailed for rape?

EDIT: looks like he was cleared of that, but was later jailed for fraud. His 'legal history' section on wikipedia is some read...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 60,912 ✭✭✭✭Agent Coulson

No I think it was armed robbery, drunk driving and assault were things he was jailed for.

And he should have been jailed for stupidity for getting that tattoo on his forehead.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 32,023 ✭✭✭✭~Rebel~

Bit of money laundering and fraud in there too I think!

He's one of those who pops up every couple of years in an article or interview talking about how he's turned things around, before he promptly goes and does something else daft that takes him back out of the game.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 60,912 ✭✭✭✭Agent Coulson

Boreham Wood seems to be a second/third/fourth chance club for players who went off the rails when they were younger.

Watching Ian Wright talk one of the Boreham Wood players that was in prison when Ian did a show for Sky and helped him out after he was released earlier showed what the club is about.

The above was when Wright first met him in prison 13 years ago.

He just can't seem to keep out of trouble for any prolonged period. Will he ever change? Can he ever change? He has to want to.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,328 ✭✭✭Did you smash it

A team mate of Nile Ranger told a story of when he was commuting to southend or blackpool he’d sometimes set off from his home at 4am to make morning training. He’d then arrive at the car park on time so catch a kip in the car park. He would then sleep through the training and miss it. Some lads can’t be helped.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,128 ✭✭✭Fattybojangles

Always had great potential Nile Ranger but a proper lunatic he was rather unkindly known as Nil Ranger at Newcastle because he went so long without a goal.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,128 ✭✭✭Fattybojangles

There's always been a nasty element to Leicester's support and them wrecking a restaurant full of families at lunchtime is pure scum.

Chelsea want FA Cup tie with Middlesbrough to be played behind closed doors

Absolutely pathetic statement and request from Chelsea that their FA Cup tie against Middlesbrough be played behind closed doors, citing "for matters of sporting integrity".

They've had nearly 2 decades of rolling around in Abramovich's ill-gotten money and all their bought success. Now, after a week of sanctions they've got some cheek. Why should Middlesbrough, or any other club for that matter that Chelsea play, suffer, when they didn't do anything wrong? They're going to be rightly ridiculed for this.

Chelsea withdraw ‘pathetic’ request for Middlesbrough FA Cup tie to go behind closed doors

In an exclusive interview with The Times, Gibson said: “I can’t believe it. I can’t believe this excuse of a man, Bruce Buck. To try this is just unbelievable.

“Sporting integrity and Chelsea do not belong in the same sentence. For 19 years Abramovich’s money has fuelled Chelsea’s success. If they were to beat us in the FA Cup, with no fans there, what would that do to the integrity of the competition? Are they going to play all their Premier League games behind closed doors too? This is pathetic by Chelsea.”

Middlesbrough chairman, Steve Gibson didn't mince his words.

Middlesbrough keeper was poor, he should have stopped Ziyech's shot. Middlesbrough were poor on the first goal as well. I don't see them coming back.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,128 ✭✭✭Fattybojangles

I bet most of the smogs wish it was behind closed doors now.

smogs that is a totally new word to me what does it mean

  • Site Banned Posts: 20,685 ✭✭✭✭Weepsie

Used to be a derogatory term as Middlesbrough was an industrial city with lots of smog.

They adopted it at some point. Poster, if a Chelsea fan, probably using it in the former way.

Don't think they'll mind. They've supported the club through some shite down the years

Everton need to get rid of Lampard quickly or they will be playing Championship football next season.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 60,912 ✭✭✭✭Agent Coulson

Very easy 4 - 0 win for Palace.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,526 ✭✭✭✭retalivity

Everton in freefall and deciding to hire Lampard has to be one of the most ludicrous managerial appointments in the last 30 years.

Its up there with Blackburn hiring Steve Kean, or Joe Kinnear at Newcastle.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 18,168 ✭✭✭✭sligeach

Lucky deflected own goal for Southampton, but they won't care. Neither do I. 1-1 at half-time, it was the last kick of the half. Fully deserved equaliser.

Moronic tackle by Southampton to give away the easiest of penalties. Edge of the penalty area, no danger and Salisu pushes and trips Jesus.
