Junior Scratch Cups 2022:When do the 'top' courses have theirs?

Yes. Cut off was 5hc. But I've wandered north of that now.

Here's the Junior Scratch fixtures I've been able to find:

Arklow 10th July; Concra Wood 24th July; Slieve Russel 30th July; Laytown & Bettystown (36 holes) 01st August; Mt Juliet 19th August; Powerscourt 04th September; Macreddin 10th September

Castletroy 23rd & 24th July

I can't remember. Having never seen the course before at the time, my goal was just getting through 36 holes in strokes at royal dublin and keeping a ball in play without scratching. I remember that even though the field was very low players there were no crazy scores in, so it was tough. My second round I had 4 birdies (but equally a few high scores which ruled me well out)

Yes, 36 in one day. Never played 36 before in one day. Really liked 36 have to say. I was playing really good by the end of the day (even if my overall scoring didn't reflect it).

Been keeping an eye for these courses but nothing on either site

Wonder what the handicap cut off would be?

No problem for that but only a 45 man field so I'm sure I'll be balloted out by all the guys with silly + handicaps now.

Cheers for that, wasn't sure if cut off was at 9 (I'm currently 9.1 on index), although as you say it can vary

What's handicap range for Intermediate?

Is that playing or index?

I'd say it could vary from course to course. We're aiming to keep the playing handicap range the same so intermediate used to be a 10 to 17 range so now the index range will be 8.4 to 15.4
