Samsung S22 Launch Feb '22

I've the Fold 3 and love it but really miss the Note, really considering moving back, never realised how much I used the pen. I have the pen for the fold but not having it in the phone is a pain in the arse, its also a 2 hand phone as the main screen is too small when you move from the Note.

I makes sense to me to have Feb be the launch for the S range, bringing the Note into the S range makes even more sense to me. Personally, I've had the S6 Edge, S7 Edge, Note 8 plus, Note 10 plus, Note 20 ultra and Fold 3, major fanboy I know but they normally release the phones when I get a bonus so it's a treat, the price point of the S22 Ultra will be the deciding factor for me, if I can flip the Fold 3 for it I'll probably change over.

I'm also interested in the S8 Ultra Tablet but I don't think it's worth the upgrade from the S7 Plus

I recently took my Note 20 Ultra out, yup I'm going back, the Fold is a decent phone but too cumbersome to use so I'll be picking up the S22 Ultra next month. The S8 looks a decent tablet as well but I already have the S7+ so I don't think it's worth the upgrade.

I'm expecting a free set of ear buds with the phone and keyboard case with the tablets

The S7+ came with a crappy cover last year, the alternative was a bluetooth gaming controller which I'm sorry I didn't go for. The Fold came with a flip case and pen (and charger). I think I got Buds with the Note 20, I used them once but my wife and children laughed so much at me with pink ear buds I never used them again. I have a set of the Pro buds though, they are brilliant.

I've never bothered with a trade in, they can be sticky enough for damage, you'll usually get a little bit more selling the phone privately.

I'm trying to pre-order the ultra now and it's coming up with an error when I'm trying to purchase through the site.

I put in a Revolt card there and it went through, I don't have much money on that so would prefer to go through my credit card, I'm going to call them to get it sorted, might be an issue with Mastercard

Ordering it directly from Samsung, bit annoying that they won't take my money but there's a few weeks anyway and I thought it'll sell out

I went for the 1TB in Black, picked up a few smart tags as well, they are down to ~€20 at the moment, been meaning to get them for ages.

I've noticed since lockdown I keep on losing my keys, I could go a couple of days without using them and then it's a panic to find them, I've had to use the spare keys more than once. I also have a lot of tech around, mightn't be unusual for me to have 2 phones and 2 tablets just thrown into a bag, having a tracker could be piece of mind.

A friend of mine uses an Air Tag as an easy way to keep track of his children, he's never had to use it (and I think it's a big stalkery) but it gives him a piece of mind, he has 1 sown into his children jacket and 1 in the school bag.

Did I mention that I'm a geek and love tech, in reality I'll put 1 on my keys and then when the battery goes I'll never replace it.
