    That's the word I got, I tried submitting it on the NY times site and it didn't even register it as a word.

    I did the first three from the archive. I thought the answer to number three was somewhat obscure. Took me all six attempts to get it and I wasn’t sure it was a real word. But as I had the first four letters right in my fifth guess, it was the only thing that fit.

    well, funny you should say that. I was a bit bored/avoiding work so I did a comparison between the original and NYT list of words. Wordle has two list of words. One is the list of words you are allowed to use as guesses. the other is list of possible answers. both of those lists have words removed in the NYT version. I'll put them in spoilers though they are not really

    This was only the second one out of 24 that I got in 3 attempts. Most of them were fours with a couple of fives and a couple of sixes. I don’t know if this is because they were harder, or maybe I wasn’t concentrating as much as I would if it was today's puzzle.

    Anyway, that’s enough time wasted for today.
