Has anyone used/tried to use India for this?

  • Registered Users Posts: 12,507 ✭✭✭✭TheDriver

Not a hope, it's wrapped up into hotstar which requires local card payment, phone etc.

Wait for eastern europe to launch this year.

Summer this year, to be more accurate. However, rumours say tenner a month or 100 quid a year out there. Hard to believe they're gonna go that high.

I saw an earlier post #959 from wilsixon saying:

I'll set up a family account of four, with these conditions:

    - must be located in Ireland

    - only install on one device, therefore no chance of using more than one of the four stream allocations at the same time (otherwise other "family members" end up getting locked out)

    - No sharing your login with others (or selling it!), it's for personal use only.

    - 12 months prepaid €22.50 using Revolut.

    - each person to have their own profile (no offensive or confusing profile names - keep it simple). You can set individual 4 digit PIN for each profile following these steps (worked for me on Chrome on my PC):

    1. Navigate to your profiles and select Edit Profiles

    2. Select your profile

    3. Select Profile PIN under Parental Controls

    4. Enter your password and select Continue

    5. Enter, change, or remove your PIN and select Save

Disney+ Sent me an email last night.

It’s going to up by almost €20.

  • Registered Users Posts: 429 ✭✭sector_000

How much is the family plan, and when does the price go up?

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,939 ✭✭✭Citizenpain

    €90

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,377 ✭✭✭fergiesfolly

From €60 the first year to €70 last year and now €90, I think it's time to cut the cord. There isn't enough content to justify that price

Just cancelled mine ,I only got it before Xmas on a deal .

I enjoyed a lot of shows on it but I decided it was time to clean house,so cancelled Disney, prime and I'm going to slash my sky TV back to the bare bones if not altogether ( depends on what they say when I'm cancelling ).

Netflix is a keeper for now because I have a Turkish sub otherwise that would have got the chop.

I will go back to Disney in a while but I'll probably set up in a split the bill family way,

When are you up for renewal? I imagine current subscriptions are going up to €90

End of March. Only renewed last year thinking they'd ramp up their content. They did to a certain extent but not enough to justify an extra €20
