Who would you have liked to have gotten the 2FM drivetime show?

I think there were loads of better DJs on 2FM who could have gotten it instead of those two eejits from Tipperary

Who’s out there? Do you go backwards or forwards? A lot of djs sound the same, the days of this is, that was & on the way are gone. What are you up to this afternoon text me in at let me know?

I’m afraid this is only the start of so called celebrity presenters taking over the radio, in a world of social media radio needs to remain relevant & with 2FM the so called youth station I can see why. The younger generation are not listening to the radio but they follow these so called celebrities.

Its happening on tv already, we’ve had a whole load of celebrity hosts on the Six O Clock show on Virgin media talking about young topics & then Martin King comes back and all of a sudden he looks very old & talking to guests he doesn’t know.

I think Chris and Ciara or Stephen Byrne would have been good, they're not Jenny Greene but both have been with 2FM a lot longer than 2Js

left it alone, Greene was good, played some tunes, minimal banter/chats crap the radio's trying to force...hell the Sub Laura Fox was grand...

I would rather they look at actual presenters outside of 2FM (not podcasters/social media stars) as I’m not too fond of a lot of the presenters on the station right now.

For a duo, Graham and Nathan on Spin 1038 are very good. They or Dermot and Dave could have been a decent shout. I’m not sure if Dermot and Dave could be a bit past-it for the audience 2FM are going for, because I haven’t a clue who that is.

For a solo presenter, Emma Nolan on FM104 is good too.

iRadio’s Dave and Fionnuala can be some craic as well so they would have been another option in my head if I ran 2FM, ha!

That's not really moving to 2FM though; he already works for both stations on a freelance basis.

You’re right but it’s not outside the realms of possibility that he could get a programme on 2FM and leave Spin for it .

It appears Beta Da Silva is the permanent host of 7-9pm weekdays now. He posted online he’s leaving weekend breakfast so that’s another show they need to fill and Jamie Maguire comes with lots of experience .
