Yeah I said it a few weeks ago, the worst was Jungle boy taking a kick to the head and Aubrey held onto the ropes with wobbly legs. Absolutely ridiculous.

Julia Hart is great. Her facial reactions and casual not interested swagger on Dark were top notch.

The jobber Marcus Cross was straight out of the 80's.

The Wing Men are such a fun Dark group pinkys in.

Nice way to give credit to Mikey Rukus and the work he is doing with the theme songs with Ogogo talking about his theme song.

Ben Bishop is one big dude. If Vince sees this episode of Dark he will be throwing money at him. All 3ft3 of -1 putting the full nelson on him :)

That MJF promo was incredible. And I love me a good battle royal too. Really strong episode.

MJF's promo is definitely gonna be talked about for a long time, the sympathetic villain origin story is perfect for this. Doubt we'll see a double turn but after last night I could buy it. Stick Mox vs Danielson into my veins, genuinely not sure who I want to win or where I want it to go. Not sure I'm that into a Eddie/Jericho match but liked the promo.

It was a great Dynamite overall but there was two things I'm not sure about.

I'm glad Murphy is in AEW but that segment was a bit of a mess. First of all having Penta debut Penta Obscura at the same time as a new debut is dumb. They gave him the win but it was an incredibly weak for someone who's meant to be built up. Would have made far more to have him beat down here and then return as Pentagon Dark. I also thought the Murphy, 'whose side is he on' was silly. Did anyone really think he was going to join Death Triangle? Just felt a little overboooked.

The other thing I'm not sure about is tag team battle royales, I'm not a major fan of them anyway but are they really doing the same thing next week or am I misreading it? Seems like a real waste of potential to do something different.

That being said, strong Dynamite and Revolution is looking sick. I'm sure it looks like I nitpick AEW a lot but they put on a hell of a consistent show. For me critiquing AEW and critiquing WWE is the difference between giving criticism for an Oscar nominee and a blockbuster. I hold them to different standards and AEW sets the standard very high.

Yeah, there's another battle royal next week. Really curious as to how they make a second consecutive one feel different.

As far as Buddy goes, I felt aesthetically, him and Pac could have worked as a team in a slightly better way that him joining House of Black. Two ultra jacked lads, who just kick the living daylights out of people angrily, lol. He looks very clean for HoB, but maybe they can have Black spray him with mist, and dirty him up a bit.

Next week's battle royal is a Casino Battle Royal. So it's the one where they come out in 4 groups plus the wild card entrant, isn't it?

So can we expect a new team as a wild card?

I'm looking forward to Max Caster's OC rap and the complete non reaction from OC.

Someone on Reddit nailed it with Cargill when they said she's like a throwback to a lot of mid to late 2000s WWE guys who were all look and muscles and fúck all talent or charisma.

MJF is a great shíthead heel and few, if any, speak as naturally as him in wrestling but I don't know if the origin sob-story was needed.

Sooner The Acclaimed get the tag belts, the better. They're the most entertaining team by light years.

Page needed a segment like that, he's been coasting for a while but looked and sounded great last night. Cole looked like an oompa loompa. The man is overdosing on fake tan.

I'd imagine the sob story will play into the match. I reckon Punk will have MJF beat, but will hesitate cause he feels bad, only for MJF to rip his head off for the win. It's really strong storytelling, and it shows he has real potential as a babyface long term too, if they want to go that route eventually.

I'm the opposite of Lord TSC and hate battle royals haha. Especially AEW ones that always seem to be disjointed.

Was Jade supposed to come out of the "Cody entrance"? Feels like the camera was focused on that for a while and it looked like it opened.

MJF promo was amazing.

Happy to see Buddy signed.

I still have no clue was Tony's big announcement is going to be. The way he talked about it in the interview with Tony before the show, I think he might have bought ROH. He said it'll be good news for the wrestlers so I'm thinking will he buy ROH and kind of make it their version of NXT, where it'll be a separate roster but It'll be AEW talent getting experience before moving to the main roster and giving guys that aren't used much more ring time. The roster is so big they could easily fill a roster for it.

I've seen the Ring of Honor speculation a few places and I'm kinda curious if anyone can answer this.

What would the benefit be of buying Ring of Honor? Outside of the name recognition and tape library that is.

Like aren't all their talent free agents now anyway. What would they gain?

I'm not dismissing the idea, I just genuinely don't know if I'm missing something.

The American Dragon name dropping Regal makes he hope that Regal will show up at some stage.

I know I give out about the roster being too big but man there's so many Cesaro matches in AEW I want to see! Hope he's signed. I posted on here last year that I was disappointed when the news came out that he had re-signed with WWE.

Up there with Danielson as one of the main jumps from WWE I wanted to see. He's never been a good promo but he's so good in the ring. Probably my favourite in ring wrestler in WWE in the last 15 years.

Just catching up on Dynamite now. I can't watch live it just wrecks me for the next day I'm too old for late nights during the week. Anyway MJF was brilliant but I thought Punk looked like a bit of an idiot coming out looking like be wanted to apologise and hug him. I'd have had him just come out to the ramp looking skeptical but saying nothing as if he's thinking to himself "what's he up to here?". Happy to see Buddy signed.
