    I do have questions on my wrong answers too which I only chose as I was going through guesses starting on top row of qwerty keyboard.

    TRODE and TROKE were words. I have no idea.

    Probably a bit early in the day to be revealing today's answer. I had three letters in the correct position after my first guess and, because of what’s been happening recently, I went for the most obscure of the possible answers that I was able to figure out. Mind you, I wasn’t aware that troke is a word or I might have gone for that!

    That was my tactic too...a word I'd heard but the more obscure one first. I've also changed my starting word. Concentrating on as many vowels as possible isn't necessarily the way to go. Pen and paper has saved a few guesses too.

    My anagram of Trove with all letter in the wrong position was Overt, which I thought would have been a much better word :P. And going back to Tacit, I would have got it sooner but I though it was actually tacid, not tacit.
