The Government have intended to give each household €200 including VAT for the electricity bill from mid February to mid April. Initially it was €100 excluding VAT.

How much money will be passed onto the account holder?

My understanding is that it is going to be applied as a credit to each and every electricity bill. Including prepay accounts

Just seen on money guide Ireland website it be €176 bill and the additional VAT of 13.5%. This make up to €200.

Hopefully the Government will stick to their promise.

Originally it was supposed to be 100, then the vat issue came up and it was increased to 113.50 so I hope they didnt weasel out of the vat issue and put it at 176.
