First things first..

Yes, they have a 3 hour battery life.

Yes, there is audio bleed when listening to loud music near others.

Yes, audio is not particularly bass-heavy.

Yes, they're not exactly high-fashion.

However.. having listened to a pair in the airport on way back from Brussels before Christmas, they sound pretty damn sharp!

And I honestly think this is a good price.. they're solid high quality as you'd expect from Bose.

They were about €92 delivered from Amazon earlier this week for the Small/Medium pair, but buying directly from Bose gives you:

a free pair of additional lenses - polarized = silver, non-polarized = blue. I'd opt for polarized as lenses that come with it don't offer fantastic sun protection.
90 day risk-free trial.
free delivery.
2 year warranty.
the slightly larger M/L model which is currently €150 on Amazon.

If you're skeptical, this may not be enough to push you into spending €100 but for a walk on a Summer's day, they're absolutely ideal IMO!

I ordered a pair from Bose, thought I'd order and see what they were like and return if I didn't like them, so no real risk. I also looked at reviews ect and had fairly low expectations of sound quality ect, and I have to say they are a lot better than expected, sound quality is well above expected -there is no bass though but that is due to design.

The design of them is ok, the sides of the frames are a little thick so people will probably realise they are smart glasses, I normally don't wear sunglasses as I rarely fund them comfortable but I actually find these perfect comfort wise and the lenses have just the right amount of tint.google assistant works well also.

And another plus - no camera on them, I will never buy smart glasses with a camera.....

They are great for listening to podcasts while going for a walk. Also excellent for hands-free phonecalls while walking.

They are fine for music too but dont go that loud.

I tried them on the Luas the other day and I had to max the volume to be able to hear them clearly and I think they were very audible to the people setting near me.
