Is it possible to use the shuffle feature on playlists on safari?

Is it possible to do this in the same way it can be done on a laptop? It would be handy.

What you are using to "shuffle" on the laptop?

Google chrome... which obviously isn't a music player. I thought the youtube website display would be independent of the browser.
On my laptop, anytime I open a playlist and click on a song, from there after the list is displayed on the right and the shuffle option appears.

Another thing I must ask; is there any way of keeping yourself signed into youtube for longer? It seemed to sign you out almost immediately. Thanks
