From memory I think the reference cost for Tams for replacing an agitation point is €450. If the new one cost €788 that’s tough s**t, you can still only claim for a maximum of €450 and that includes labour cost as well. That means at 40% grant rate you get €180 back, at 60% rate you get €270 no matter what the actual costs were.

Costs of completing that job in Wranglers would be far higher than what you’re calculating.

In my opinion even if they got the manhole covers for free it’s still a good thing for a tenant to do in someone else’s farm when you take the labour cost as well. Wrangler did say all the concrete had to be cut back as well, a nice bit of con saw and kango work at that too.

I was surprised, though any time they'd lift slats one would get broke, so I'd even bought ten new slats early last year. Slats are near fifty years old so were probably due to break any way. As I said they reckoned it was dangerous, they had to take up eight slats to agitate each tank

Seeing plenty reports of woman taking up arms in Ukraine too… Would agree 100% on the bravery they are displaying - men and women…

I don’t know would I agree with your opening statement…

Got all my bushes burnt this morning. Grand windy day with the wind blowing away from the couple of roads boundsing (I thought that was a word). Had my slip from the council, fire brigade informed and all the i's dotted and t's crossed. Got it going around half 10. 4 piles of bushes and small branches that's been lying in situ since the end of September.

Nevertheless, mother got a call from a woman down the street saying she was in the shop and a local pain in the hole was giving out about the trail of destruction on X farm and the whole place on fire and she was gonna call the guards. Mother rang me to tell me. No bother. Sure enough, the guards landed in there to the yard near 1 o'clock. They were dead sound. I told them I'd the council told and the fire brigade and all was grand. Happy days. Off they popped and I went for dinner (which I'm finishing now!). I look forward to meeting local pain in the hole towards the end of the week when I start spreading slurry outside their back wall. I think around their spot the Ps and Ks are low....

Allegedly all is not well in Putins Fuhrerbunker, hearing too he's fired his top military commander, possibly Gerasimov.

Bollox, just found a tree down from the last storms. It's gonna be a "Chainsaw Sunday". Will cut it up and split it later in the year and burn the rubbish from it after the 1st of September. Has to be moved now because it's in a silage field. Big spruce one, growing as long as I remember. Butt of it all rotten though. A bit worried about the ones alongside it now if this one is rotten, they probably are too.

Spruce on peaty ground is notorious for that - the amount of windthrow on spruce plantations around North Mayo is eye opening and makes you wonder what the hell the forestry service does be at okaying such sites🙄

This stuff, I've been told by the mother, was sown in approx 1939 to provide shelter around an old haggart.

Now it's dead, and the carbon is all going to be released. Trees eh. Pure bastards

There is huge assumptions about the military strength of Russia. However there military is mostly made up of reconfigured late cold war design. They are really depend on a change over from these to there newer design modern technology. There tanks are still outdated and do not rank the top ten weapon systems in there category. There new jet fighter is but I am not sure how many they have. Artillery and distance weapon systems are limited. There Navy is very limited in real terms from both location and quality.

There is a real risk of them entering highly build up area's. The javelin and other anti tank weaponry would nullify there tanks and other armoured carriers. There problem is the longer they spend around Kiev the higher the risk there will be attacks on there supply lines.

The risk is as well that you could get intervention from other states that have left the EU. Uprising in Georgia and Chechnya could cause a draw on forces as well

The longer Ukraine holds out the more sanctions that will be put in ace by the EU and the US. The EU and the US are starting to supply Ukraine. How long before technical help or professional military assistance is supplied as well.

Some fair black smoke off some of them tanks. Scrap I'd say. Fair play to the Ukrainian's to fight not like the Afghanis.

interesting move by Roman Abramovich today handing over the running of Chelsea football club, no doubt trying to put assets out of reach of the EU

Na you have to teach the lingo.

10 minutes left in the game after scoring a goal or a point and going 4-5 clear

'' come on Kerry lets go home( or of it is Cork and you are in Killarney ''let's send them home'') in style.

Ref is giving a load of frees against you

'' come on ref why do you not put a saddle on him altogether''

Injury time and you are a point up with 2;3 minutes left

'' blow it up ref we have enough of it''

An opposition players is rolling around letting on to me injured

''Send him to the corner for cry ref and give him a bag of sweets''
