UK Open 2022

The first major ranking event of the year, and a personal favourite of mine. Love the open draw 'FA cup' style format and multiple boards at once. A massive 159 player field will take to the boards. The first round will see the Tour Card Holders ranked from 97-127 joined by the 16 Rileys Amateur Qualifiers and 16 players from the 2021 Challenge Tour and Development Tour.

The Tour Card Holders ranked from 65-96 will enter in round two, with the players ranked from 33-64 joining the event in round three. The top 32 join at fourth round stage on Friday evening
