    I've done that a few times when I was using the laptop keypad,

    now I use the Wordle keys which will have the dead letters blacked out.

    I only have useless luck when I get any - no chance of winning money lol

    I actually thought the very same thing as you the past few days, use the more obvious word rather than the more obscure one, as it's often caught me out where I've thought of the word a few guesses early but go for more obscure ones.

    I've found the wordle word is usually a fairly common one, so better off not shooting myself in the foot!
