I’m trying to find out if Brendan Kinlan is alive or not? Can’t find any recent google results. I know he was beaten in gaol and left brain damaged but I never heard of he got out after the 8 year sentence and if he’s still alive?

The date of death is one of the pieces of information you need to provide if you are requesting a death certificate (of anyone who died less than 50 years ago). For someone who died more than 50 years ago you can search for the record without knowing the date.
