Is the Wales v France U20's match on RTE tonight? The 6 Nations website says it is but I can't find it on the tv schedule.

Iv not watched England yet can anyone give a rundown?

    I assume their huge again

havent seen much of them apart from how big they are.

England have some very large boys! Skilled backline too. They just haven't geled. They are aside that can attack from anywhere. But, they seem to get lost for periods. I watched their win over Scotland and was impressed but, but what I saw from them against Italy, (highlights) they looked out muscled.

Anyway, Brownlee has got to be disappointed. I thought he was very good. McNabney has looked great too! A good bunch of players in this group. Delighted to see Wilson back. He scrummaged very strongly v Wales.

    Brownlee is injured.

    BTW, who is Mangan?

  • Registered Users Posts: 882 ✭✭✭Lsdrugbyfan

U19 backrow/lock who was injured until recently. Went to Newbridge College, is highly regarded.

Mangan plays for UCD 1st and has been injured, but back for the last 2 AIL games, he should be starting, serious prospect

BP French win vs Wales puts a bit more pressure on Ireland. Must win game now if they are to take the title.

England have made six changes to the side that beat Wales 43-14, with five of those coming in the forwards.

George Hendry is the only change in the backs as he replaces Henry Arundell, while Ewan Richards comes in for Chandler Cunningham-South at blindside flanker.

John Stewart and Tim Hoyt come into the front row for Finn Theobald-Thomas and Will Hobson and behind them Lewis Chessum and Tom Lockett replace Charlie Rice and Alife Bell in the second row.

    1. Fin Baxter (Harlequins) - 6'1, 116kg

    2. John Stewart (Bath Rugby) - 1.77, 108kg

    3. Tim Hoyt (Leicester Tigers/u19), - 6'2, 123kg

    4. Lewis Chessum (Leicester Tigers/u19) - 6'5, 115kg

    5. Tom Lockett (Northampton Saints) - 6'7, 112kg

    6. Ewan Richards (Bath Rugby), - 6'6, 110kg

    7. Toby Knight (Saracens, Caps 2), - 6'3, 110kg

    8. Emeka Ilione (Leicester Tigers) - 6'1, 105kg

A win for Ireland should all but seal it as from what ive seen and heard from Scotland they aren't much better than the Welsh.

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,581 ✭✭✭Dubinusa

That pack is fuckin enormous! I hope we can beat them!

The Welsh pack were very big , but they were dreadful.

From what I've seen of England (albeit only highlights) they look like a group of pretty decent players but very lacking in cohesion/familiarity and structure.

If this is the game that they finally "click" in, Ireland might be in trouble, but size alone isn't a reason to be worried really.

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,581 ✭✭✭Dubinusa

Wales were big but awful. I've seen England but they were good. A bit unfocused at times and sloppy. They have made changes though, so who knows.

Mangan on the bench for Ireland a big prospect from what I’ve heard.

Brilliant news that James McCormicks injury wasn’t serious, would’ve been a huge blow to lose him

Wales actually beat Scotland reasonably comfortably and I expect Italy to beat them as well.

Italy well beating the Scots 17-6 and had scores disallowed as well.
