    Love her music but the poetry is shite! She should stick with what she's good at.

    I feel bad for the poor young priest, he seems like a nice guy but he should have either become a Protestant minister or he should have become a social worker. Allowing himself be indoctrinated into that cult is a waste.

    the three girls were good fun I thought, I wish I had someone that could teach me to speak Irish, nobody in my family has any Irish beyond some ungrammatical painful efforts to directly translate English into Irish.

    going by comments on here Imelda’s “ah sure I’m only a liberties girl” carry on has really hit the end of the line.

    People have seen through the act.

    Yeah, comments on boards are a great indicator of the mood of the nation.

    Protestantism = Not Cult

    Catholicism = Cult

    Right. Anglicanism and Catholicism are quite similar. No logic to that, because clergy being celibate or not doesn't define a Cult.

    Also Protestantism in Ireland had its abuse cases too, naturally Catholicism being the dominant faith, you'll have more.

    A very 'Black Prod' statement out of you.

    Abuse cases have nothing to do with it.

    Protestant priests/ministers preach the same message with tiny differences but can marry and have a family life while still looking after people.

    thought that was obvious, as the poor fella kept going on about how he had to commit to being a priest and give up ever having a partner or a family.

    He could easily do both.

    by the way, what is a black prod statement?

    And given the choice, by far and away the better option would be to be a social worker or work for a charity rather than sign up for a cult and waste his life like that.

    Will this be more serious or will we get through this without Pat's maniacal laughter.

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,613 ✭✭✭Montage of Feck

    Not as awful as I was expecting, I imagined Pat Short was more of a LLS guest.

    🙈🙉🙊

    Michael Jordan didn't seem all that likeable in The Last Dance.

    This guy is good. I think this show is at its very best when it’s some relatively unknown person like this who can talk and tell a good story.

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,192 ✭✭✭Samsgirl

    I really enjoyed that!

    Wouldn't put any money on Jimmy White winning that title.

    9 out of 10 of the top sports stars, like Michael Jordan, Tiger Woods, Lance Armstrong, Muhammad Ali had a serious edge to them that would crush anything or anyone who got in their way.

    Even at all time GAA stars level, Christy Ring etc.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,052 ✭✭✭sully123

    No doubt that if he had met him 30 years ago he would have got him over the line.

    1000/1 tho...
