    Ireland in 2018 is the second highest gross contributor per capita in the EU also, despite being a smallish nation…

    I'm not using the video, I skipped through it.

    I'm using nothing but the fact that four Asian men are standing outside claiming to be Ukrainian.

    I don't need to hear anything in it, or listen to the makers views.

    I can determine from my own eyes that yet again the Department of Justice have no interest in using the processes in place.

    Or what part of my argument can't be taken seriously?.

    Your beliefs and your cousins beliefs are not based on any truth or facts.

    This happens all the time. People in my family have had to get bank statements before for similar reviews. This has been happening for years. There is no conspiracy to take people off welfare because of the Ukrainian situation. The DSP in this situation is doing what it has always done; routine checks.

    It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.

    The net number after you subtract what they gave us vs what we put in, since 1972, is +40 billion for us.

    You don't think that +40 billion had any impact at all on contributing to the welfare system that we developed and have today?

    It doesn't matter a jot who he is. He's not talking into the camera saying he saw "X, Y and Z".

    He's standing outside with a camera and four Indian men claim to be from Ukraine. I can make my own determinations to the truth based on that.

    Well we certainly won't have some woke character down there making sure they're all genuine will we.

    Ok... The video doesn't show that there's Indian men pretending to be from Ukraine.

    The source tarnished themselves so what they recorded isn't real.

    That's some great logic.

    You can disregard the video, but anyone who can make up their own mind using their own mind and sense will take it for what it is.

    How do you know they are not Ukrainian citizens? You're posting videos from that guy an expecting to be taken seriously. You don't know anything about those Asian lads but they are a good target because of how they look. Your issue is that you consume idiotic videos like that and actually think that is normal behaviour and a great video to be posting which says it all.

    The mica homes n autistic specialists will have less chance of funding now that the government is spending billions on Ukrainians. The money for each issue comes from the one pot. It's fairly basic stuff really.

    based ALL on fact…unless she’d had a win on the lotto or inherited a vast amount…. they will know from her records….She hasn’t worked… therefore without earning money her circumstances have not changed a jot… she needs the payment last week, she will still require it this…

    dragging her up in front of a state employee to justify herself is a waste of state resources. And stressful for the person…

    she has to justify 200 and whatever, yet others arriving receiving medical cards, housing, cash that there will be little will or want to relieve them of…

    both my parents, ‘80’s, retired, both with medical conditions, relieved of medical cards. Having to pay colossal health insurance…

    the overriding reasoning increase in population due to multiculturalism and our lack of ability to control our borders.

    according to data from the OECD the national household per-capita disposable income NOW is actually lower than the overall EU member countries’ average… it will remain so or get worse if we cannot control our assets, wealth and resources…which we cannot…

    the phrase cut your cloth to meet your measure comes to mind…. But when someone else is holding the scissors… not possible, our wellbeing is being torn to shreds due to the ongoing multiculturalism or multicultural-ization of the state…

    am I against helping ? NO, but when you cannot decide yourself when that door is open closed, who comes in, who doesn’t, then it’s futile.

    Nope.

    Occupational therapy does not come from the same budget that mica remedies comes from does not come from the same budget that refugee funding comes from.

    Different budgets. Plenty of money in the country. There is a management issue, not a lack of money.

    They’re claiming to be 12-14 year olds as Ukrainian men have to stay and fight. Enabling these con artists does nothing to help Ukraine, it only takes up much needed space. Would you be happy with these grown men in school with your kids pretending to be children?

    I don’t, 40 billion since 1972… 40 billion in 49 years.

    In 2020, €58.2 billion was spent on social protection in Ireland, a 20% increase on the 2019 spend of €48.4 billion.

    Actually its not always from the same pot. Often with refugee situations the money comes from the EU rather than directly from Irish taxpayers funds.

    It's hard to respond to drivel like this. Where are they claiming to be 12-14? The amount of accusations that get thrown around just because the lads are not white. You're claiming that these lads are claiming to be 12-14. You have zero proof of this and lets be honest you just made it up didn't you? Like the lad who just made up that they were fake scammers when they could very well be Ukrainian citizens. It's a sad stage where people just make up lies about people, purely on the basis that the people are not white, and it goes unchallenged. But that's what this thread is all about and it's been going on for a long time on here.

    There's no point arguing with some of these left wing nuts.

    I question things and will change my opinions on situations based on facts and changing dynamics.

    I am opposed to the DP process as it's full of spoofers, I am in favour of hosting as many Ukrainians are we can.

    These left wingers never stray from the narrative they pick a side and won't veer from it, sadly the Dept of Justice workers share their lazy attitude.

    My mistake they said 60 not 16. Go to the five-six minute mark. Do you believe them? Do you think their 60 and Ukrainian? They don’t seem to have Ukrainian accents. They certainly don’t look 60. The anti-aging companies will want to unlock their secrets.

    If they are Ukrainian citizens,they have broken Ukrainian law by leaving the country. They should be repatriated and tried for desertion if that is the case.

    They didn't say 60, one of them said 60 and was probably referring to the old lad there and the idiot interviewing of course puts it all in their mouths that they are all 60. They said they were Ukrainian citizens and they are entitled to flee a warzone. It makes me smile how much it must annoy you to know that they are in the country and will get every benefit that they are entitled to and will be welcomed for fleeing a warzone as they should be. It genuinely does put a big smile on my face :)

    You don’t need an interview to gain the payment, so unless they have evidence to remove it these types of ‘get togethers’ are futile.

    she’s got a doctors letter confirming that she’s not yet of the health to work… so that should suffice, her bank statements don’t suggest she’s out every second night or flying off to the canaries every 6 weeks with the family, there have been zero holidays with covid…she doesn’t drink…

    the government see what’s coming, who is coming, what it will cost, financially, socially, logistically and they are for prioritising the wellbeing of others.

    Multiculturalism doesn’t benefit the country unless the country is of the ability to control its borders…and maintain the wellbeing of it’s citizens as it’s number 1 priority…

    the UK is proof….France pretty much the same.
