I might go half and half, I have TOTM DeGea and FB Varane already, wish Shaw out at LB, I could get Hakimi in to RB and slot Ramos in CB over 92 Maldini.

Yep he was great at the start but the hero cards all fell away by the Xmas time bar Di Natale, Cordoba and Ginola.

having a lot of fun cause I’m coming up against a lot of people trying to play high pressure games, which means I’m killing them on counter attacks. I bought Fantasy Balde and did the Antonio SBC too. Throw them both on at 65 minutes, set both to aggressive interceptions and just whollop long balls up to them. It’s a blast, cause they out pace most defenders, and body any they don’t. 😂

This game is getting so stale now… and I’m not usually one to quit this early. Just had a game in div 2, fella had TOTY Messi, Cancelo, KDB, Marq, Donnarumma, PIM Matthaus, POTM Mbappe etc. 2-1 down and he starts passing it round the back from 60th min to the end. My players couldn’t get it at all, even on constant pressure and R1 2nd press. His game plan was pass it around, R1 triangle to Mbappe/Salah/Messi rinse and repeat.

Well, four straight losses this morning puts an end to last nights optimism 😂 just absolutely hammered repeatedly. Quit out of four games at 3-0 down cause they were 100% the types of games I was never going to score in.

Finally managed to score a bicycle kick last night to complete the milestone objectives requiring one - only took me 6 months to do it and didn’t have a clue how I did it lol.

That Ericksen Fantasy FUT card did it and have to say his long range shooting is something else, a couple of right screamers last night

I have 3 free kick goals so far. It was the exact same last year until I got PIM Roberto Carlos and he’s basically a cheat code. Within a month of using him I had closed out that objective.

the last player I had that could match him was the first rttk Alonso where he went to 91 rating.

before that it was Reus in Fifa14.

I’m still trying to get it and I know how to activate the shot!! I only managed to get the free kicks one about a month ago, TOTY Ronaldo is lethal at them.

This quiting when drawing is such bullcrap.

First game , he pauses before game starts, runs it down to 0. I kickoff, he fouls and quits.

Second game opponent attacks from kickoff i win ball, counter attack, he wins ball and kicks it out and forfeits.

Third game I'm annoyed a bit which I think is partly why I go 2 -0 down in 30 mins but opponent pauses ( persume for me to quit). He runs the clock down to 0 but we resume. I quickly score 2 to level in my next 2 attacks. He kicks off and kicks it out and quits again.

Wtf.

Bought 92 Raul a couple of weeks, and i absolutely love him, playing at CAM behind 87 Rodrigo (leeds) and 87 Inaki Williams, they really compliment each other perfectly, Raul though is a top class card

Haha. I didn't bother with icon swaps this year. Think I got laudrup and zanetti from them last year. Can't hack SBs at all. No fun so I don't do them. I just do my 8 rivals wins and rank 4 in the wl most weeks.

Yes, it feels like anyone who is semi-serious about the game already has a fully stacked meta team and every game is very similar.

I'm bored of it to be honest. My own team could be improved but it's so difficult now for me to improve any single position that I don't feel it worth the effort. I'd have to seriously grind it out.

Mhm, I’ve built my half Liverpool team/other favourite cards and that’s what I’m using atm. Still have 10.5m sitting there, nothing to do with it. Hardly playing rivals now, mostly friendlies. That classic cup tourney was great fun.

I always do the bronze and silver segments in icon sbc's because its better value than the standard bronze/silver upgrade packs and also tradeable. Paid off again today with RTTF Depay in the bronze sbc of Socrates.

It's all down to money at the end of the day. The better the players that are available through free methods like season completion and league sbcs, the less money is spent on packs during promos.

Two shite picks from that new SBC - HL Leao and 86 Can. Allowed me to open up the packs I had locked behind an untradeable IF Robbo tho..

100k pack gave me the promo Alvarez+Vertonghen and the 83+x25 gave me IF Robbo again, IF Koke, IF Pellegrini, Kane, Suarez, bunch of 86-85s and the rest 83. Would’ve liked a different walkout IF tho as I’ve packed IF Robbo 3 times now :)
