Think Dessie is giving everyone in panel a run. I imagine Evan will be back in goal next week.

Big enough test tomorrow but its a good one to have we will need to show something to win and to stay up winning the last three games should be a bit of a boost . I really want us to stay up so fingers crossed we do it .

Two simple scores for Monaghan from sloppy Dublin play

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,467 ✭✭✭MFPM

Terrible goal to concede. Waltzed through the Dublin defence

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,177 ✭✭✭munsterlegend

Kilkenny doesn’t look fit or right at all. Never thought I’d see this Dublin team so sloppy and poor in possession,

that should have been a goal for Monaghan I was about to post, then they score one.

dublin gone very careless after that good start… what was McCarthy at there ? Fûcked away the great start.

three points up to three down in 3 minutes

Psychologically gives Monaghan belief now crowd behind them. Worrying times.

Guff about stuff, and stuff about guff.

Rock isn't anywhere near mobile enough when quick ball goes in to him.

"Well, yeah, you know, that's just, like, your opinion, man"

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,467 ✭✭✭MFPM

Monaghan on top now, the early confidence Dublin were playing with is gone. Rock and Kilkenny kicking easy chances into goalies hands and Kilkenny kicking miles wide.

early days but we badly need a run of scores

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,177 ✭✭✭munsterlegend

Dublin look like a team training on a beach all week. Zero legs

  • Registered Users Posts: 13,001 ✭✭✭✭JRant

Great to see a ref calling frees for the pulling and the dragging off the ball.

"Well, yeah, you know, that's just, like, your opinion, man"

Not sure if he was carrying something, but I just don’t think Lahiff just isn’t good enough at this level.

Ha, this ref is gas. Every attack may as well be a 21m free

  • Registered Users Posts: 13,001 ✭✭✭✭JRant

Yep, we have the look of a team still doing heavy shifts on the training ground.

"Well, yeah, you know, that's just, like, your opinion, man"

Yet another joker … soft frees, then pulls Murchan back when he should have allowed him the advantage he was away.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,052 ✭✭✭rolling boh

lucky enough to be still well in it big second half though as i type big chance put wide .

  • Registered Users Posts: 25,417 ✭✭✭✭Strumms

Only a two point deficit… recoverable

like us to transition from defence to attack faster..Monaghan half backs are doing well.

    this referee though.

Not a great match, Dublin did well to get those final three scores. The big players from last week, Scully, Fenton and Howard are not showing in the same way. Could be the training as others have mentioned.

  • Registered Users Posts: 25,417 ✭✭✭✭Strumms

great credit to Monaghan AND their referee but we are spending feck all time inside their 45.

great finish to the half though… needed that

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,467 ✭✭✭MFPM

The starting team today is probably Dublin's first choice 15, John Small and O Callaghan aside. Not much on the bench even if/when Paddy Small returns. Concerning with the championship on the horizon.

    Relegation incoming!

    I'm going for a pint.

  • Registered Users Posts: 13,001 ✭✭✭✭JRant

    That's the game.

And it is not even one you can say it is hard luck. Well deserved.

Guff about stuff, and stuff about guff.

At least they've responded to the goal

Should have gone for goal… what was he thinking 2 or 3 meters out

lucky, lazy defending that’s worrying, leaving it to each other.
