I'm biased cause I love Jackass but that was awesome.

Just chaotic fun and added a nice bit of variety to the Mania card.

Would have loved a Steve-O appearance but still.

Fair play to Johnny Knoxville. Not just for having a match at mania but a quite entertaining and fun match.

No boo-boo face from Sasha, she must be winning.

Great win for Naomi and Sosha

    Really cool entrance from Edge

Supposedly the camera man messed up and showed The Rocks mom in attendance for a split second.

I've seen a few comments on it now, we shall see what happens!

I wish I hadn't read this comment if it does happen now :-/

    Maybe worth a spoiler tag?

Aj cut? Is he selling the conchairto or what? Seems like a fresh cut

  • Registered Users Posts: 541 ✭✭✭ECookie13

Supposedly he got hit with some pyro. Who knows though yet

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,138 ✭✭✭ThePott

Seeing it said now that he hit his head off the set making way to the ring. You can sort of see it in this video.

Looks like the rumours of a Gothic Edge Stable are true.

Thought that match was really underwhelming unfortunately.

  • Registered Users Posts: 541 ✭✭✭ECookie13

Little bit disappointed in that match. Not bad, but a little slow, but I guess not all the matches this year can be 200 mph.

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,767 ✭✭✭Deeper Blue

That never really got going I didn't think

  • Registered Users Posts: 541 ✭✭✭ECookie13

Xavier has really bulked up in the time off.

But what was that ending. New day always get shafted at mania.

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,138 ✭✭✭ThePott

The ending with Priest did it no favours really, could easily have waited until Monday to set up the stable.

As bad as I feel for Big E getting injured (which sort of ruined the momentum of the match) and the fact they got cut from Night 1, that match had no business being on the card. It was a fine Smackdown match, totally disposable though. Considering neither secondary titles were on the card it makes its inclusion even stranger.

Especially when neither the United States nor Intercontinental belts were on the line. Like, how can they possibly take a back seat to a nothing match like that one?

So they cut the New Day match from last night - fair enough, that happens. Then they make them get squashed in 2 or 3 mins but we must have 15 mins of video packages? Fupp that, that's really bad form.

I don't think I've enjoyed tonight as much as last night, but I certainly enjoyed the Knoxville/Zayn match for silliness. Tapping out now, will watch the rest tomorrow, but I'm sure Brock/Roman will be fun, but that'll wait till the morning.

Great entrance from McAfee, really enjoyed that, felt like a fella living his dream in the coolest way he could think of.

  • Registered Users Posts: 541 ✭✭✭ECookie13

Hard to believe MacAfee is only 34. He looks about mid 40s.

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,138 ✭✭✭ThePott

Crowd was so crazy for McAfee, dude is over as hell and a serious secret weapon for WWE both on commentary and in the ring.

Felt the ending was a bit lame and hope they don't over do it with him, make his matches feel like a big dealm a rarity.

  • Registered Users Posts: 31,717 ✭✭✭✭~Rebel~

Ah that was great, really enjoyed it. Loads of great little moments; the suplex reversal, calling his own match for a minute, Cole's cheerleading, the chants, the jump straight to the top rope, all just good stuff. And throughout, McAfee looked like he was having the time of his life in there!

Wish he'd gotten to hit the 'punt' as a finisher instead though, but otherwise, one of the highlights of tonight for me anyway.

<edit> all kickin' off with an impressively jacked Vince now!

  • Registered Users Posts: 38,455 ✭✭✭✭PTH2009

    This is bonkers

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,138 ✭✭✭ThePott

Vince saw Austin returning and wanted to prove he could still go too.

Speaking of, Stone Cold is definitely coming out for the save, right?
