    Made it with one to spare. If I find a word with many possible options, particularly where you know four of the letters but there are multiple options for the other letter, I used to fall into the trap of trying each of the options in turn until I got it correct. But I’ve changed my strategy on such words and now I abandon it in the hope that one of my guesses for the other words will reduce the number of possibilities.

    For example, I had a word today where I knew the last four letters, but there were four possibilities for the first letter. Luckily, I was able to figure out the other word I switched to and this included one of the four options, so problem solved!

    Another good one on the 16 in 1 is to use the first three words to exhaust the most common letters with no repetitions, i.e. all the vowels and common consonants. Then start looking for solutions from fourth word on, ideally starting with those using other letters not used yet. Not foolproof but does improve the odds in your favour.
