    Roman Sharf caught selling fakes

Looks like his company commissioned cheap fake sunglasses and then sold them as Ray Bans. They got caught when the copyright holder (Luxottica) bought a total of 12 (!) fake watches from them over a few occasions

@OmegaGene - all the grey dealers in the "trusted circle" seem to be defending each other. The more I look at it, the more I find it an incestuous bunch. At least with a bigger dealer you will have comeback, although it seems you will have to go through the courts.

Hi, have started following the forum lately. I wanted to get a watch for my wedding in 2 weeks but have been looking and researching for a long time now. Anyway after much research I decided the Tudor black bay 58 was the nicest looking watch in budget for me. Rang Paul Sheehan on Wednesday to enquire and they had the black colour just landed on a bracelet. They put it aside for me and I went in with the future wife today and had the AD buying experience. Great fun! Blue was my first preference but now I have the black colour I love it! Watch feels amazing. Needs to go back in to storage until the big day now! Looking forward to building the collection from here.

Nice one coach22, well wear. The Tudor BB is a classic and great value for money for what is really a Rolex underneath. Best of luck for the big day!

Just looking for thoughts on this. Bought a bracelet from Germany through chrono24. Was sent 31st of march by DHL.

Have just got a text message from AN POST saying my package has an unpaid fee of 2 euro for customs?

Germany is in the eu so is this a scam?

Is it normal for DHL to off load to the postal service?

    Thanks

  • Registered Users Posts: 832 ✭✭✭funkyouup

Its a scam but it is normal for DHL packages from Germany to be handled by Anpost once it gets here.

  • Registered Users Posts: 832 ✭✭✭funkyouup

I just had an order come from Germany via DHL, it gave me 2 options - Shipping EU Deutsche Post registered mail for 6.50, or Shipping to EU DHL for 10.90.

I went with the more expensive option and it cam via Anpost. I guess there is a better option at a higher cost this shop wasn't offering.

Mother of God....the narcissism.the cringe...I cannot take it anymore.

I don’t know who’s worse Thorpe or Oisin .I wouldn’t trust a word from Thorpe and it’s as if Oisin is actively going out of his way to be a dickhead.

The narcissism is off the charts. No scruples or pride - all about the moolah. What's the watch version of pop will eat itself?

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,971 ✭✭✭893bet

I want to meet someone who bought one.

Hang it in your man cave? **** lol

    Ploprof will eat itself?

I wouldn't be surprised if that pic of Oisin above was Oisin's own screensaver.

His screensaver? Or his bedside magazine? 😂

Why are Oisin and Paul interested in spending their time making 75 pounds....thought these were big dick players, with loads a money. It makes no sense to waste your valuable time putting crap filters on watch photos and selling them to fawning numpties. Thats what never sits right with me. Thoorpe says he is retired, and has a bunch of Ferraris etc....but spends all his time doing shows and making a few quid here and there. Same with O'Malley...is he the arbiter of all that is art and beauty, he has beat the casino, is a music producer and tech entrepreneur. but then he shilling shitters and recounting tales of the past for tips on youtube.

The lads will have onlyfans pages soon enough.

Their desperation for money is embarrassing. Almost as bad as the Simps in the comments.

I think they're doing an experiment to be as much of a knobend as possible to see if people still follow them

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,693 ✭✭✭scwazrh

I’ve no facts to base this on but from what I have picked up from Oisin’s videos and putting 2 & 2 together and possibly getting 5 I wouldn’t say he’s that comfortable at all. When he moved to Venice he put up a video of finding a new apartment to rent ,now granted renting would be more the norm over there but if you’re living there full time for a number of years and have family there I would assume buying a property would have be on the list over the past 20 yrs or so.

Also he did a video talking about where he gets his money from .One of the questions to him was “ is it passive income? “.He took this to mean family or inheritance money .If you don’t know what passive income is ,there’s a good chance you don’t have it and given the volume of free time he has or his time spent with YouTube , if he doesn’t have passive income I doubt he has much income at all.

He’s selling a lot of watches lately, or trying to sell them at least .His sales posts have all started as “I’m only selling as I have so many but I’m not arsed if they don’t sell” and then he goes on to repost & repost and moan about how surprised he is that no one has taking up the wonderful opportunity he’s is giving someone to make some money by buying his watch .If money’s not needed , a wis usually has no problem leaving that money in the watches .

On top of that making ads for **** watches and selling your time on super chats by answering questions for a fiver a pop…. I’d say it’s a case of you see all that he’s got .

Feel I like I should know this oisin and Paul?

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,971 ✭✭✭893bet

I had a 3 hour commute today and there was **** all watch content on you tube I wanted to listen to…..so I listened to Oisins live stream from a few days before.

He is getting worse. A total arsehole. And 90 percent of his commenters are also arseholes. It’s amusingly bad but they can easily clear a couple of 100 a night from super chats. It’s easy money really.

Fools and their money. Below a sample of questions from earlier.

“hi Oisin, I am going to Italy next month. I have been to Rome and Florence, where would you recommend”.

Fuck off you sap and Google it.

”hi Oisin, can you recommend a nice bottle of red as I want to give it to my AD”.

Fuck off you pathetic stain of a man

”hi Oisin, do you ever think Tudor will be as big as rolex”

No one gives a **** about your Tudor collection your peasant.

“Hi oisin, if the French girls was a watch brand, what brand would she have been?”

Are you still **** thinking about her, **** off and kill yourself you 40 year old virgin.

    (and breathe)

  • Registered Users Posts: 832 ✭✭✭funkyouup

I learned everything i needed to know about those 2 knobs after watching a minute or so of their content.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,693 ✭✭✭scwazrh

I was with you up until this

“No one gives a **** about your Tudor collection your peasant.”

I think my Tudor collection is coming along very nicely

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,971 ✭✭✭893bet

Well you will be better placed to keep the 10er next time towards another than asking uhhhhsin his opinion (as Paul calls him).
