Omicron did all the work, the vaccines are taking the credit.

PS: Careful mentioning the 'I' word in here - your comment could be construed as being "antisemitic", which usurps all crimes of individual thought that happens in the conspiracy forum (and in all likelihood is considered worse than many actual physical crimes in the eyes of many here)

Well look at you with your made up names “pro vaxxer”. LOL. If you decided to read the thread you are posting on, you’d see my position quite clearly. Basically it’s, if I see bullshit I’ll call it out. You haven’t answered the question you were asked. Why would you be asked again if you had answered?

What are the safety issues with the vaccines? Surely before posting in this thread you’d have a spiel ready to go.

  • Registered Users Posts: 17,996 ✭✭✭✭Dohnjoe

If only there was some event in the world where a majority of adults were vaccinated to demonstrate how safe vaccines are.

  • Registered Users Posts: 25,236 ✭✭✭✭King Mob

Nope. You gave some examples of what you considered to be "extreme pro vaxx views" but these were either not actually extreme or views people did not actually hold.

When you were challenged on these you ignored the points and dodged them.

You shouldn't lie about things, you're only contributing to the perception that anti-vaxxers are dishonest.

Also, you might want to disassociate yourself from Markus, he is a flat earther. It would make your previous complaints about having your anti-vaxx views compared to flat eartherism a bit null and void.

Lol. Completely empty, vapid post again.

No content. No original thought. Most likely copy pasted from some twitter account that does your thinking for you.

Good boy. Keep doing what these grifters tell you do.

The telegraph? Can you find any more convincing source than an article on a sh1t rag newspaper?

  • Registered Users Posts: 12,809 ✭✭✭✭The Nal

What parts do you disagree with? Specifically.

  • Registered Users Posts: 17,996 ✭✭✭✭Dohnjoe

You wrote that you openly believe that all scientific papers are "junk". So I'm strongly suspecting all the newspapers in the world reporting all the studies in the world aren't going to mean a jot to you.

  • Registered Users Posts: 913 ✭✭✭buzzerxx

"I trust the experts" Yeah? Which ones? The ones willing to get fired? Or the ones profiting?

When given 2 people with the same education, experience & expertise, always trust the expert who

is willing to sacrifice their job for what they are saying over the one who is will say anything to keep theirs.

Trust the RIGHT experts. Motivation matters people.

FFS man. If you're just going to mindlessly dump stupid facebook mom memes, at least get higher res ones.

    Pathetic.

  • Registered Users Posts: 12,809 ✭✭✭✭The Nal

How come a lot - if not all? - of the "experts" touted on these forums in the last two years predicting endless lockdowns, social credits, communism, 5G tracking, all about control, you'll own nothing, millions dead from vaccines blah blah have all vanished now?

    Funny that.

par for the course with auld buzz buzz... he hasnt one original thought in his head.

that's why hes the perfect mark for those grifters to sell their lies to :P

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,687 ✭✭✭whippet

Like the expert Cahill - who happens to own a castle, set up a travel company for those who didn't want to get vaccinated or wear masks and seemed to be fairly busy with fundraisers etc .... but as you said - follow the money

Wakefield was another one who managed to carve out a specalist living after being found out telling lies - yet some people still seem to want to believe every word he says and pay for the privilege

  • Registered Users Posts: 25,236 ✭✭✭✭King Mob

Yea, and anti-vaxxers always ignore the fact that Wakefield started out not being completely anti-vaxx. He started by claiming that having the MMR vaccine as a 3 in 1 was the issue. And it just so happened that he had a patent on single dose vaccines and would have stood to gain a lot if there was a move away from a 3 in 1 vaccine... And it just so happened to be that he was a paid expert in a suit about the safety of vaccines...

    Follow the money.

Nothing out of the ordinary, 15 tennis players dropping out/unable to finish at the Miami Open recently, including the favorites to win both the mens and womans.

Perfectly normal with professional athletes, sure worldwide nearly 800 athletes have collapsed mid-game in the last year (or more as that's only the collapses that made the news).

Ohh, thats right, all were fully jabbed with the perfectly safe shots. Something smells.

“Follow the trend lines, not the headlines,”

  • Registered Users Posts: 12,809 ✭✭✭✭The Nal

Why did they pull out? Source please?

Its this tweet isnt it? Did you just believe this without "doing your research"?

  • Subscribers Posts: 41,605 ✭✭✭✭sydthebeat

yeah, the vaccine caused Jannik Sinner to withdraw due to foot blisters !!

again, for every lie theres an article debunking it

Here is the alarming headline. “Buried Bombshell: Tennis World Rocked as FIFTEEN ‘Fully Vaccinated’ Players Unable to Finish Miami Open.”

    Wow, that is loaded.

It is easy enough to look up not only how many withdrew, but who and why.

    Google “withdraws Miami Open.”

Sure enough. Players did withdraw. Big names.

    Raphael Nadal withdrew. Why?

“I need to make that transition step by step,” Nadal said when explaining moving over from the hard courts in America to preparing for the French Open on clay in April.

Oh. So not COVID then, or vaccines.

Serena Williams withdrew. That hurts. She is amazing, and fans want to see her. Plus, she calls Miami home.

“I am disappointed to withdraw from the Miami Open due to a left knee injury,” Serena said in a statement. “It was an amazing experience to play at the Hard Rock Stadium this year and would like to thank the Miami Open for putting on an amazing event.”

So, not COVID then, or vaccines.

They also lost Roger Federer. Another big star.

“Roger Federer is withdrawing from this month’s Miami Open so he can spend extra time preparing to ‘work his way back out on tour,'” his agent told The Associated Press.

“The 20-time Grand Slam champion has not competed in more than a year after having two operations on his right knee during last season.”

The tournament also lost No. 1-ranked men’s player Novak Djokovic and it is COVID related.

He pulled out of the Miami Open citing coronavirus restrictions.

But here is the juiciest part. The screaming headline and the accusations that the media is hiding the truth is that supposedly all of these withdrawals and failure to show, were due to complications from the vaccine.

Djokovic is unvaccinated. He doesn’t fit the conspiracy theory narrative.

His complications are due to his having a set of rules for himself, as he has a right to, and the tournament having a different set of rules, as is their right as well.

Mark Twain said a lie can get halfway around the world before the truth can get its pants on in the morning.

Everyone of us, media or not, is responsible to put on our big person pants and check out the most sensational stories for ourselves.

so 323 above is just one more liar on here, well done son .....

    Oof, how embarrassing for 323

Vaccine related personal reasons and blisters.

  • Registered Users Posts: 25,236 ✭✭✭✭King Mob

Lol. Are you guys still trying to claim this?

It's been months and this is the only thing you can point to?

From previous claims I was expecting that the sports world would have been devastated by the vaccine that only seems to attack athletes.

You will most likely be running away now that your tweet dumping has been laughed out of the room. But on the odd chance you feel brave enough to actually defend your parroted belief:

Why do you think the vaccine is only giving side effects to sports people?

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,485 ✭✭✭Fighting Tao

Such a predictable thread. CT’ist posts bullshit, and it is blown out of the water in minutes.

  • Registered Users Posts: 13,534 ✭✭✭✭Igotadose

They're so lazy. Mostly their claims are refuted if they read beyond the headlines of the tripe they parrot, or the comments on the tripe in the original media (like Twitter.) This happens repeatedly - remember when Phishy spammed the thread with some report, which if you scrolled to the end said, "The vaccines are fine." (paraphrasing.)

Intellectually lazy and personally lazy. Kind of go together.

  • Registered Users Posts: 25,236 ✭✭✭✭King Mob

    That's just how it works.

They see the tweet. The tweet has the headline and maybe a quote from the article. That's it.

They then just repost it without checking the article, without doing any fact checking or verifying. Without doing any thinking.

In some cases, they try to reword it and and their own smarmy comments to it to show how they were right all along. In others, like with @buzzerxx he just copies and pastes complete passages cause he's not able to come up with stuff by himself.

They think they sound cool, rebellious and smart, yet they seem genuinely shocked when no one falls for it and actually look deeper into stuff.

This is what happened here @323, right? Please be honest and just admit this.

Through experience I've found the rule is: if it's an article from a real news source, the article will contain the information needed to debunk the conspiracy claim. If the article is from a conspiracy crank site, it can be debunked by looking at the other articles posted on the site. It won't be hard to find something dumb and embarrassing the conspiracy theorist won't want to acknowledge.

Here's one for ye King Knob,

''If we can't think for ourselves, if we're unwilling to question authority, then we're just putty in the hands of those in power. But if the citizens are educated and form their own opinions, then those in power work for us. In every country, we should be teaching our children the scientific method and the reasons for a Bill of Rights. With it comes a certain decency, humility and community spirit. In the demon-haunted world that we inhabit by virtue of being human, this may be all that stands between us and the enveloping darkness''

    Carl Sagan, American astronomer, scientist

"its very hard to educate pork"

    Me. 06 April 2022

  • Registered Users Posts: 25,236 ✭✭✭✭King Mob

    Lol.

Have you read that book? Or anything by Carl Sagan?

Cause I don't think you understand that quote or anything he ever said.

And as you've been demonstrated by just copy and pasting other people's work and opinions you aren't able to think for yourself.

Parroting tweets and pretending it's something you wrote is not thinking for yourself.

Repeating the same childish joke over and over again is not thinking for yourself either.

  • Registered Users Posts: 16,678 ✭✭✭✭astrofool

But you're just parroting whatever facebook tells you and posting easily debunked content, you are literally doing no thinking at all, the things you are questioning are being told to you by someone else, there is absolutely zero critical thought being done by you.

Posting someone elses work word for word when it starts with "If we can't think for ourselves" is great banter.
