Advise please on how to get rid of Crocosmia Bulbs

My garden has been taken over by Crocosmia Bulbs. I have dug up about 14 bin bags full but now don't know what to do with the bags of them. It is too expensive to take them to the recycle centre. Can anyone help me?

Where are you? How much does your centre charge? I guess you are somewhere that doesn't have a brown bin?

No I don't have a brown bin and to be honest there are too many bags for a bin anyway.

It's almost impossible to kill them so no matter where they go they will grow. Keeping them in water until they rot would work but you seem to have too many for that. If you keep them in the sealed bin bags they should rot down and then go on the compost heap.

You will probably have just as many next year!!!

If I can find somewhere to store them until they rot that is definitely a possibility.

I wouldn't need coal for years with that lot and if they keep coming back I could sell them as an alternative heat source 🤣
