Took the plunge and did POTM Mbappe and he’s well worth it. Had more fodder than I realised and threw a good amount of special cards in so he only cost 600k in the end, had been hanging on to 2m for ages waiting on something decent to spend it on which is obviously not the most sensible way to treat virtual currency.

Then forced myself to do all of the icon swap squad battle tokens since Friday to get the 13 tokens for the 92+ prime icon pack………out pops 94 Cruyff 😄

Think this is probably the best FUT team I’ve ever had. Have 1.6m in the bank if anybody has any more suggestions for it but for now this is loads of fun. Only the full backs are tradable.

how come you have basic chem styles on most of them?

Funny when someone's butt hurt you beat them they'll throw that back at you that you had 5 at the back! It's one of the most attacking formations in the game

Cannot recommend it highly enough. I’ve been using 3-5-2 for years, some games it’s worked well and others it hasn’t, but it’s definitely viable this year. If anyone wants to give it a crack, I’ll gladly post my tactics.

It’s not perfect or “meta” but it’s just fun to play with.

Anyone finding it hard to get a game in the Yarmalenko objective?

Too much untradeable fodder so decided I’d do the prime pick… Stoichkov, Koeman or Rio. Went with Rio, have no use for any of them so just went with whichever costs the most on the market.

Yeah I have been using 3-5-2 all year this year. It's great craic. I tend to either batter my opponent or get battered. I'm just playing for fun so I have PotM Sterling & Moments Ziyech in the wide positions neither of whom are great at the auld tracking back.

is socrates worth doing? where did you play the baby?

Baby del piero was my pull in the first icon sbc and i still use him (now especially as im shoehorning tonali and caliguiri into a Ligue Un side) and i am waiting on the prime sbc that is supposed to be coming.

Completed Weghorst and switched to a 352 with him and HL Diaz up top, FB Bobby behind. Banged a hat trick with him including my first bicycle kick this year… lots of fun with that card. Will win you every ball in the air. Highly recommend completing him if you haven’t done so already, very fun card to use. 4 games, 7 goals and 2 assists for me.

Played a game there last night against moments R9 and TOTY Messi… Weghorst banged a hat trick inside 25 mins and the fella was gone.

That Weghorst card is utterly cracked, I’m just crossing everything into him now but he keeps scoring, 10 in his first 7. He’s so much fun to use.

Weekend League is going to be very fun now with a 91 Weghorst. 😁
