What a job Vieria has done at Palace he's transformed them in a season made some cracking signings and completely changed the style of play from the turgid rubbish of the last few years.

He has to be in the manager of the year conversation IMO.

I thought Vieira would be a poor appointment but he has done very, very well.

They have some great young talents. Eze, Olise, Guehi, Mitchell...all doing very well.

It helps that he was allowed spend as much this season as the last 4 seasons combined.

In fact, Hodgson was basically given nothing to spend for 3-4 years after Pardew, Sam and De Boer were allowed piss away the guts of 100 million over 2 seasons.

They've spent a few Bob alright but that's no guarantee of success look at state of Everton hundreds of millions spent on donkeys. Palace have signed very well and much more importantly Vieira has coached them very well.

I'm glad they showed the replay of last week with Ederson and Jota. I was going to say Mane charged non-stop at Steffen, whereas Jota stop started. Had he charged like Mane, Ederson likely would have conceded as well.
