The answer is both yes and no, changing you speaker cable to a thinker cable should give a better sound but you can also get a thin sivler based cable that can perform better that a think copper based one.

However this is also dependant on the speakers as well as the amp.

If you wanted to get some cable to try out you could go for something like the Symphony 400 priced at 3.29 Euro per meter

For a thinner silver based cable there is the Ultra Micro priced at 3.99 Euro per meter

Without breaking the bank you could check out the Yamaha NSSW050 priced at 129 Euro

Or the Tibo Harmony Sun 6 coming in at 149 Euro

You would require a sublink cable for connecting the sub to the amp.
