I came up against a YouTuber with 300k followers earlier and watched his stream back to see was it actually him and it was.

I am Div 2 and they put me against him who was Div 3, thought you only played people in the same division.

I will now blame all future losses on them matching me against Elite Div players 😋

31 shots and a 10.7xg in my first game with the revamped team. Might not get 14 wins this weekend but at least I’ll actually enjoy myself unlike 90% of these drop back pedants.

Since I had 400k lying around I bought an ultimate pack and got Silva... his dribbling is out of this world..makes Madonnna look clunky.

My team below now.. I thought I had Silva at CAM and Socrates at ST but I think I'll leave as is as Socrates is just banging in goals for me. 12 goals from 7 games in Div 2 and qualifiers. I keep thinking I could replace Forfana and Delaine but both are top class. A toty Kante to replace Fernandinho and toty Mbappe to replace his gold but to be honest that's about it really.

Mbappe has played 1391 games for me. I think that's a record for me with one player. Its been at least 8-9 years since I got a player even near the 1k mark. Was very lucky to get him from the gold upgrade sbc right at the very start.

Back up to Elite again earlier today with my cheapo team. Almost every team I faced today in Elite has some combo of Vieira, Cruyff, Gullit, Eusebio, Pele, Dias, Varane and Cancelo in a 4231. It's a boring slog through games now. Uninstalled. I'm done till Fifa 23.

That Jota card is on another level to anything I’ve used so far. He feels a bit clunky and doesn’t pass or dribble brilliantly, but the runs he makes and positions he gets into is so worth it. Seems to always be in the right place and everything goes in for him.

Probably the most true to life card in the game.

Finally!!!! Got TOTS Trent from a 75+ player pick, my POTM Trent can now retire after 54 goals and 403 assists

Also special mention for TOTS Alisson, his base card was shocking, this is even worse, ridiculous animations, and saves nothing, if he were 80-82ovr, im sure he'd be the goat of shot stoppers

Don’t find it any harder than usual, last week was much worse for me. It’s the first week where my team isn’t underpowered compared to most of my opponents though so that might have helped.

Hit Rank six with two games to go. Thought, screw it. If I could win the last two games, I’d get rank five. So threw my loan TOTY Mbappe into the squad, and actually managed to nab two more wins to hit rank V.

couldn’t resist a Red Bruno for my United team. But being honest, I’m not playing with wingers and Son would have clashed with RTTF Mane. And he’s, surprisingly, only 850k currently, and I have 2m coins to spend if I want to try him.

TOTS Alisson has hands like paper, told myself not to play WL this week but i just did, its a sweat fest, played a game there, where i absolutely battered my opponent, his keeper saved every shot, and ai defenders blocked the rest, im leading 1-0, but then of course his 3rd shot was a goal, where Alisson for some reason took a crouch position, and parried the ball to his striker for a tap in, he runs and celebrates into the camera, then quits, im already done for this weekend.

On the plus side, winning a lot of rivals, and Weghorst is back in beast mode, unreal card

I play him with Weghorst lol.

They’re both top class in fairness, but they have different roles for me. Jota runs in behind, Weghorst does a bit of that too but he’s mainly a target man.

Weghorst is still one of the best strikers in the game, I can’t imagine anyone taking his spot, so to answer your question, I’d probably stick with him and leave Jota alone because Wout gives you something very different to pair with Dalglish.

I’m looking at that new Kane card, he looks like he could replace Weghorst but I’m afraid to put all my fodder into him only to realise he isn’t as good.

Just a word on that 95 Dias card as well, he’s brilliant in my defence but his passing is cracked altogether. Played the qualifiers for next week’s WL with him yesterday and he has 4 assists already. None of my midfielders can even pass as well as him, the long lofted through balls are savage altogether.

Needed to win one of my last three to get 60 points.

Last week I needed 2 from 6 and didn't get it but it was like 3/4am and I was wasted.

I got robbed in all three at the end there and just quit the last at 2-1 with 75mins gone. He got a penalty where I didn't even tackle him and I should have been 3-0 up after 20mins.

I was 1-0 initially.

Another of the three, i went up in ET and he scored two stupid goals and I quit at 116mins as I always lose penalties anyway.

Rushed the picks and packs and uninstalled(Bruno, Rice and Allison both times).

Couldnt be arsed with the button delay anymore.

If they churn out this shite engine again for 2023 I won't even bother as it's about 10 years dated now.

I'm glad we get more time on the weekend league, I only got to play 11 as had a busy weekend. I'm currently 8-3, this is usually where it goes downhill for me when playing. I can see that going to 8-8 before I get to 11 wins.

Looking at the options you guys have got they seem to be the same few players showing up. Ideally I'd get CR7 so I can sell my TOTY one but that's not going to happen. My pack luck for TOTS has been awful, I've packed the Eredivisie right back 3 times though.

The cost of some quality PL TOTS players is very very affordable, even for me 😄, Bernardo Silva around 180k, Alisson 100k, Lloris the same, Bruno 120k, Jota down to 240k, Dias 235k

Jesus that WL was cruel. Finished at 12-7 and ironically the first sight I got of a 'gifted win' was in game 20 when I was going in to give it away myself.

Red picks I took were dias and jota. Not bad as dias goes straight into the team.

Hi All.

I just downloaded fifa after a year break to see what it is like and what is going on with the laggy menu?

I have ps4 so obviously not the newest tech these days lol, but I would expect navigating the menu being a little faster than that.

Is something wrong with my console or is it like that for everyone, eg moving from one tab to another having a second or two delay?

Ended up getting a dupe Rice in the PL upgrades so I put him into Akinfenwa, now to see if I can fit all three into the same lineup. Hakimi and Silva just pumping cross after cross in every game, might just break the meta. 😂

Kane is pretty good from all I’ve used of him so far btw, his passing is what sets him apart from every other forward though, it’s as good as any midfielder’s. Not scoring as many as I’d hoped yet but the gameplay was atrocious in rivals tonight, as bad as I’ve ever seen it, so I’ll partly blame it on that.
