Oh I don't know. Isn't it completely normal when I post a French newspaper article from 1929 showing Arabs massacring Jews, that the first response is that "Jews probably owned that paper" LOL

No anti-semitism here. Just a bunch of Irish folk with a bit of an unhealthy obsession over Jews living in Judea. 😉

As my 'chronicles of apartheid' series (which has proven to be a big hit) continues. Meet Dr. Masad Barhoum

He is an Arab Muslim and he manages Israel's second largest hospital situated in Northern Israel.

You still haven't answered the question - Are the Palestinians in the West Bank treated equally to Israelis in the west bank? Are the Palestinians anywhere in the West Bank treated equally to Israelis in the west bank?

As the smash hit 'Chronicles of Apartheid' series continues, we turn our attention to the IDF. Meet Major Alaa Waheeb and his fantastic moustache.

He is an Arab Muslim and joined the IDF as a volunteer. He rose up to the ranks of Major. Being a Major means that Alaa Waheeb trains a unit of soldiers.

So in 'Apartheid Israel', an Arab Muslim trains mainly Jewish soldiers in the Israeli army.

The answer being of course "no, of course not." That is the purpose of trying to say anything but.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,231 ✭✭✭Odhinn

I think the continued avoidance of the question in a way answers it quite well. The treatment of Palestinians in the occupied territories is the source for the "apartheid" label, and throwing up smoke and mirrors doesn't change that hard fact.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 86,729 ✭✭✭✭Overheal

'profiles in courage' of zionist stooges but I doubt we will be getting any profiles of rainbows and unicorns or Kumbaya happening in the West Bank, nor would we see Arabs and Israelis treated the same, because there is a mountain of evidence entirely to the contrary. Some of the worst bastards in the US who wouldn't be tolerated here, are going to the west bank to invoke Right of Return and gleefully kick people out of their homes illegally because they are backed by a government that is just as evil as they are.

As we continue our series 'Chronicles of Apartheid', we meet the 14 Arab and Druze members of the Israeli parliament who didn't get the memo.

Somehow, despite the 'apartheid', they manage to sneak into parliament every day. 👍️

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 86,729 ✭✭✭✭Overheal

That's like saying Sinn Fein being in the NI Assembly proves how pro-England they are. Or that Black Congressmen before the Civil Rights Era proved America never lynched anyone or committed any crimes against humanity.

Nothing in your posts contradicts the fact that Palestinians are living in Apartheid in the West Bank.

As Netflix looks to secure the rights to smash-hit Boards series 'Chronicles of Apartheid', we meet our last instalment of the day - Tawfik Toubi

Tawfik Toubi was an Arab politician and served for 41 consecutive years in the Israeli parliament.

So in 'apartheid' Israel, an Arab can be the second longest serving politician in Israeli parliamentary history. That's some apartheid right there.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 86,729 ✭✭✭✭Overheal

And Sinn Fein again, had elected officials in Northern Ireland since 1921. Which doesn't evidence that the Colonizers did nothing wrong.

Thanks, keeps making the point for us: that there is Apartheid in the West Bank.

We start off today's 'Chronicles of Apartheid' with a doozy.

Meet Bibras Natkho. He is a Circassian-Muslim and captains the Israeli national football team. He has done so for several years now.

So in 'apartheid' Israel, the man chosen to represent the state in international football, is an Arab-speaking Circassian Muslim.

And we have a bonus of vice captain. Meet Eli Dasa, an Ethiopian-Jew.

Arab speaking Muslim and a black guy representing 'apartheid Israel'.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 894 ✭✭✭Bayonet

The 'Chronicles of Apartheid' now moves onto entertainment. Meet Lucy Aharish.

A few years ago, Lucy became the first Arab Muslim woman to present the news on Hebrew channels.

So in 'apartheid' Israel - the main evening news programme on one of the main Israeli TV channels, was hosted by an Arab Muslim woman.

Lucy went onto marry a well known Israeli Jewish actor.

So in 'apartheid' Israel, an Arab Muslim news presenter, marries a Jewish actor.

Add in one of the sites most notorious anti Semites posts repeatedly in this thread and uses the name of a Norse God that is especially favoured by Neo Nazis.

They're not obsessed with Jews because of Israel, they're obsessed with Israel because of Jews.

They keep shifting thinking they're outwitting everyone.

First it was the Jewish religion they had a problem with - From Romans to the Catholic church

Then it was Jewish ethnicity - ethnic pogroms culminating in the Holocaust

    Now it's the Jewish state.

A country the size of Wales in the M.E that seems to inspire such visceral hate in certain European nations.

It's a circle jerk of leftists, Islamists and the far right.

I mean there are prominent Irish politicians who've been calling for sanctions on Israel. Any accusations of anti-semitism being the motivation, were always batted away and Jews accused of trying to use the race card.

Then these same politicians come out against sanctions on Russia, because apparently sanctions hurt the normal people in society.

They always get exposed in the end ☺️

    hate? no .

expectation that the state would live up to the ideals it claims to live by? yes .

an expectation that the state would stop breaking every international and human rights law in the book and screeching anti-semitism when it is called out based on actual evidence? yes.

israel deserves sanctions, it deserves the BDS movement to succeed as does russia deserve the sanctions on it and more.

I'm very highly educated. I know words, i have the best words, nobody has better words then me.

    The double slur.

Accuse Israel and Jews of being the pinnacle of evil. Engaging in all of the worst crimes imaginable. Every minutia of Israeli society under the micrscope to look for any defects that are then amplified into being a big crime crime. All of the world's projections onto one state.

Then when people from that state question the motivation of the obsession - they're accused of using their ethnicity to try and silence debate.

I'm not sure if Israel should take any lessons from a people who lauded pub bombings.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,231 ✭✭✭Odhinn

You have posts to show that will back that slur up?

Yes, it seems they're quite ahead in that field already

Our next entry in the 'Chronicles of Apartheid' is a real head scratcher.

    Meet Khaled Kabub.

Khaled is an Arab Muslim and is a supreme court judge. The supreme court is the highest and most prestigious court in the land.

That means that in 'apartheid' Israel, an Arab Muslim can reach the pinnacle of his law profession and be in a position to rule over national cases in the Jewish state.

Now many casual observers might be thinking that this looks like the antithesis to apartheid, but the far left pink haired activists over at Amnesty have assured us that this is defnitely apartheid.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 86,729 ✭✭✭✭Overheal

None of the examples are citizens of the West Bank.

None of the examples disprove Apartheid.

It's being suggested that the next Hitler need only collect a handful of loyalists from the group they wish to wipe out in order to achieve popular support from ignoramuses.

How does Israel Get way with this

They get away with it because they have the backing of America because of her oil interests in the Middle East. As soon as that dissipates, Israel is in real trouble as far as international tolerance is concerned.

Right now America, et al, turn a blind eye to what Israel does because she acts as the hard man for US interests. But the day will come when that will no longer be enough.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 29,381 ✭✭✭✭end of the road

israel is guilty of crimes, that is a fact.

it does not equate to jews as a whole being guilty of crimes, meaning it is therefore you who is engaging in the slur by claiming that israel and the jews are 1, dispite that not being the case regardless of it's specific state religion.

As we continue the 'Chronicles of Apartheid' - we must bear in mind that far left activist group Amnesty claimed there was apartheid within Israel.

Meet the beautiful Rana Raslan. She is an Arab Muslim.

In 1999, she was picked by Israelis to win the Miss Israel title. She went on to compete in the Miss World competition.

So in 'apartheid' Israel, the Israelis voted for an Arab Muslim to represent the Jewish state in an international competition.

This is the level of argument and debate one would expect of a 6th form leftist with pink hair and a nose ring. No offence if you are, but really this is a terrible standard. It's tired, cliched, totally ignorant of the facts.

I mean we literally had the most pro-Israel US government when they were energy independent.

irish people, presuming in the main that boards posters are irish people, who are like mad interested in palestine/israel, are kind of weird imo

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 894 ✭✭✭Bayonet

It became more prevalent as the 'troubles' died down. I think many miss having 'a cause' and have co-opted another one to fight and be 'activists' in. They feel like they're having an impact, but to be brutally honest, Israelis barely know the Irish exist. They have some foggy visions of them being into booze etc usual cliches, but Israel seems to be such an imoprtant topic for many Irish.

Of course the IRA and PLO enjoyed quite a relationship. They worked together to learn how to kill the most people from their bombs etc. So there's that too.

I love it. The people trying hard to prove they aren't segregationists hand picked her for that esteemed token position you say

Just like Vanessa Williams ended hate crimes in the United States.

Note how the more examples I post, the more angry/frustrated the devout followers of the PLO/Hamas/Amnesty get. Sad.

As we continue on with our 'Chronicles of Apartheid', we meet Mira Awad.

Mira is an Arab Christian, and was chosen by the Israeli public vote to represent Israel in the Eurovision song contest.

In 'apartheid' Israel, Arabs are chosen by the public to represent Israel internationally.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 86,729 ✭✭✭✭Overheal

"The West Bank cannot possibly under apartheid, because Eurovision"

Wow, it's not like both sides of this conflict have never manipulated the mass media to gaslight the entire affair. Now I grant it's no Tomorrow's Pioneers but it's just as insipid.

    Typical Israelibot response.

    No surprises there.

You can imagine if the Irish had some stereotypical racist view of the Israelis…. There’d be uproar.

4147 kilometres is the distance between Ireland and the US, a country and culture and people we have a connection, partnerships and history with.

5707 kilometres between Ireland and Israel with no direct flights, no significant history or partnerships. culturally, in terms of trade or socially.

Ireland was the first EU member state to declare that a solution to the conflict in the Middle East HAD to be based on a fully sovereign State Of Palestine, independent of and co-existing with Israel.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 86,729 ✭✭✭✭Overheal

As a superfan of Chronicle of Apartheid can I ask when we will get chronicles that don't only focus on figureheads or political tokens? Perhaps we could chronicle all the Love and Harmony in the West Bank that is being implied is happening. Are all the West Bank schoolchildren learning together peaceably, are people all secure in their possessions, there is no IDF condoned violence against Arabs?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,177 ✭✭✭Fandymo

Bang of Israeli propaganda in this thread.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 894 ✭✭✭Bayonet

This was my point. Ireland couldn't be more irrelevent to Israel if you tried. You have zero sway in Israel, no clout internationally. Yet you're trying to be the flag bearers of the PLO and spearheading a boycott, whilst Arab states are increasing their trade with Israel and more peace deals are rumoured to be on the horizon.

So whilst a bunch of white folk in Dublin jump up and down crying 'muh apartheid', the Arabs are investing in Israeli tech and literally creating new economoic ecosystems with Israel. The UAE in particular has already invested billions with Israel.

I'll be honest, Ireland looks pathetic.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 687 ✭✭✭Housefree

This is what your dealing with.

Israel funds a massive online troll army to defend it's Apartheid regime and justify it's human rights abuses. This thread would be flagged on one of their apps and the state sponsored trolls flood with propaganda.

Check this advert for their propaganda app:

As viewership of the 'Chronicles of Apartheid' sky rockets, we turn to some 'ordinary' every day Arabs living in Israel.

Meet an Israeli-Arab Muslim businessman. He's being interviewed by some Arab news channel.

Much to the anonyance of the Israel detractors, there's been a phrase used by Israeli Arabs for some decades now. It's along the lines of "If Israel was hell, it would still be better than paradise in Palestine"

Here the Arab businessman seems content to live in Israel and is not interested in false Amnesty reports by left wing activists.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 86,729 ✭✭✭✭Overheal

There's popularity among US Conservatives to Ban BDS, if you can believe it. These very Anti-PC Brigade, Muh Free Speech types, afraid of a few pinko haired commies with tattoos and nose rings suggesting we Boycott, Divest from, or Sanction Israel. Wild, innit? Almost like they are afraid there might be some common sense to the proposal.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 86,729 ✭✭✭✭Overheal

I thought the Irish were not worthy of the Chronicles of Apartheid, they were all a bunch of white devils or something?

Glad to hear about literal no-name Businessman, is his no-name shop located in the West Bank by chance?

Also not the best Standard Bearer, when Mr. Businessman's headline is he'd rather live in "Hell in Israel" then whatever the ****. That's like saying you'd rather live in hell in a Nazi concentration camp or in fear up in the attic with Anne Frank than be burned alive after having fire ants supposited in your anus.
