What's going on here? This is simples - the child didn't wanna go to school. Mammy & Daddy persuaded her, so she wore eyelash extensions etc., knowing she'd be sent home. Smart girl, silly Mammy.

Some school rules are ridiculous and over the top, a student not allowed to take off his or her jumper in warm weather is crazy. They were also not allowed to put on their jackets when all the school windows were open and the classrooms were cold during COVID. I went to Secondary School way back in the late 1960's and early 70's, we had no uniforms, we had long hair and the only rule relating to our person was that we were clean and did not have B.O. There are uniform and appearance rules to be followed in many aspects of life, but sometimes common sense does not apply.
