Sweden are really good and if they won, one couldn't complain.

That's a winner. The crowd were completely wrapped up in that

Sweden is bland, I think Ireland's record is safe for one more year.

I don’t think that would have ever been in doubt….

Australia has a good singer but I didn't like this song the first time I heard it.

Sweden has the same problem as quite a few entries this year: excellent singer, mediocre song.

The Tories will privatise Channel 4 and emasculate the BBC to keep the others in line. So Scotland will get top 5 if they go bagpipes and Pernicious Albion will have left the EBU

The script at ESC is usually bad but this takes the figroll.

The issue is never the issue; the issue is always the revolution.

The Entryism process: 1) Demand access; 2) Demand accommodation; 3) Demand a seat at the table; 4) Demand to run the table; 5) Demand to run the institution; 6) Run the institution to produce more activists and policy until they run it into the ground.

If Australia ever won would it be on in Australia

    Agreed.

The Swedish girl is a terrific singer but there's something missing from the song.

Them being in it at all is the icing on the cake of what a farce this all is.

Sam Smyth with a daft head piece.

These operatic type songs with good singers do well but haven't won. Suppose Conchita.

I don’t object to the mask but what’s with the swan feathers? Symbolism?

    They's all emotional

I wasn't too in love with the Swedish song at first, but it kept getting a bit better and better and the final chorus did sound genuinely powerful. Loved how her vocals sounded crackly and raw.

Australia gets better every time I see the performance

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,671 ✭✭✭✭Ol' Donie
