Is Marty actually over there or is he getting pissed by himself in a commentary booth at RTE with Linda Martin next door getting ready to deliver the Irish vote?

They've actually scheduled it for 4 hours so expect it to be five.

The issue is never the issue; the issue is always the revolution.

The Entryism process: 1) Demand access; 2) Demand accommodation; 3) Demand a seat at the table; 4) Demand to run the table; 5) Demand to run the institution; 6) Run the institution to produce more activists and policy until they run it into the ground.

If Moldova win, next year can we send The Sawdoctors with The Edge on guitar and Sinead O'Connor throwing in a bit of vocals

Israel 2019 I liked the bit where they had performers cover each others songs.

It really showed now utterly shít Netta was and how the win was based entirely on cynically playing an X-factor level of sympathy cards. All the songs were good as the other artists showed.

He also has a house and a studio in Tuscany so he spends alot of time in Italy.

€100 says Linda Martin mentions either herself winning or Ireland still holding the record of 7 titles…

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 24,436 ✭✭✭✭Larbre34

Looking at the standard of the final, I have to say there are only about 4 songs that Ireland deserved to be ahead of and make the final.

Also, when it comes to the actual singing, most of the Final performances were very accomplished and really all better singers than Brooke Scullion. That's being completely objective.

Good singing by Mika - but as for presenting - zero points.

Remember, there are something like almost 50 juries to call in and THEN the drawn out phone votes read by the second worst hosts in history (the last worst hosts were Italy 1990)

They won't do that in an hour!😯

With the jury votes separate to the public vote they announce the jury votes while they calculate the public points instead of waiting after the lines close. So they should be starting calling the juries very soon.

For me my favourites were France, Italy, Netherlands. Loved Norway and Moldova too. Totally don't get the hype for Spain or Sweden.

    I'm OK with a Ukrainian win - it's a catchy tune.

Biggest disappointment of the night - no Zitti e Buoni.
