    1. What is your budget? €2.2K to 2.4

    2. What will be the main purpose of the computer? Gaming and the odd bit of film editing

    3. Do you need a copy of Windows? No

    4. Can you use any parts from an old computer? No

    5. Do you need a monitor? Already have one but will get a better 4k 120hz one in summer

    6. Do you need any peripherals? No

    7. Are you willing to try overclocking? Perhaps

    8. How can you pay? [Bank Transfer/Credit Card/Laser] Either/or

    9. When are you purchasing? ASAP

So I have about 2400 to spend on a new PC. Generally I'd build myself as I have done with every PC since I was 10 but with the state of industry and getting parts prebuilt seems the best option. I'm looking at a 3070Ti build but would like something that is futureproofed a bit as I would be either adding a second 3070ti or upgrading to the 3090 or whatever is out in a couple of years. Figure that PCSpecialist are my best bet as with Brexit it's a bit wild out there.

Will mainly be using the PC for Sniper Elite 5, COD 2023, BF 2042, Lost Ark, VR gaming, etc. I already have a VR headset

    Thanks in advance

3070 Ti can't run in SLI. Doesn't matter anyway since SLI is functionally dead.

Thanks for those, would most likely go for the first one as it's overall a better build. That said, even with all the items in my basket the GPU isn't showing as available till next month which is why I am considering a prebuilt. Plus, while I've built multiple PCs over the years the last one was almost a decade ago and I don't want to mess it up

Dell/Alienware have the Aurora Ryzen edition with Ryzen 9-5900 (12core/24thread) + RTX 3070, 16Gb RAM, 512Gb SSD, and CPU liquid cooling for 1898.80: https://www.dell.com/en-ie/shop/gaming-and-games/alienware-aurora-ryzen-edition/spd/alienware-aurora-r10-desktop/d00awr1035 (Remove the mouse & keyboard to see the price)

Alternatively, order a machine from PCSpecialist, either through their website or from Curry's.

Any recommendations for PC Specialist, looking at them and playing around but been a while since I last built a system. Ideally, I'd not go with a prebuilt but put together one for them to build.

Just bought one from them, couldn't be happier. Bit cheaper than OP's budget, mind!

Make sure you check and ensure that they have removed all the plastic coverings on the parts. Know of someone whose CPU cooler still had a plastic cover on it.

I was going to build myself but been a while and just not confident enough or patient enough to do it now. Plus last time my hands shook and I ruined a part. Needed a new motherboard so would rather pay someone to do it

I will, thanks. I have built in the past, but just fancy being able to send it back if it doesn't work!

The Intel Core i5-12600K is not better than the Ryzen 7 5800X. The 12600K is a six core CPU while the 5800X is an eight core CPU. If you got the cash get the Aurora Ryzen suggested by KOKiki.

Not entirely sure on what you mean by misinformation... :/ The OP stated that s/he intends to spend over 2k€ on a machine. Not entirely sure how a 6 core machine is better suited than an 8 core machine... Such benchmarks really don't do much for me: it states that an 11th Gen I9 is worse that a 12th Gen I5?... Because 220 fps less than 240 fps... LOL! Has anyone warned these people that the human eye can't handle more than 30 fps?... xD Anything above 60 fps is overkill! As for editing work, from my point of view, whatever work I do always limited by my 10Hz fingers... xD
