I think it might be based on how many guesses it took to solve each word. You get 12 for a 3, 11 for a 4 and so on down the line. This would give 68 points for 3 to 10 inclusive. I did 3 to 9 and my final word was an 11, so I scored one point less than you.

I presume the logic is that you score 2 points for getting a word on your 13th guess, 3 points on your 12 guess and so on up to 14 points if your first guess happens to hit a bullseye.
