    What's "this"?

I'm not clicking into some random link.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,442 ✭✭✭bad2thebone

Something about a one world government and these billionaires want to track our movements and our carbon footprint. I think it's never going to happen, but it's interesting that the conspiracy theorists we're saying that, and I thought it wouldn't ever happen.

Rich people basically telling us that they're going to run our decisions for us, where we drive, what we eat, our daily mileage, what we eat, how we spend. If we go over a threshold we get docked points, probably have to pay some sort of new world tax on it. Absolutely baloney, I don't buy it.

Totalitarian micro-surveillance of every aspect of people's lives using the justification, this time, of environmentalism

The bigger problem, as I see it in the last few years, is that many people will not recognise the wrongness of such things and grant any real validity to privacy.

"Shurr they'll never look at the data anyway. Shurr don't you own a smartphone anyway? Shurr it's protected under GDPR anyway." Etc., Etc.

Facial recognition tech to be deployed by Irish government as well.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,442 ✭✭✭bad2thebone

I actually thought it was a conspiracy myself, people harping online about it for year's. The next thing it's a proposal at the world economic forum.

Sometimes I think conspiracy theorists give them ideas. I'm into conspiracies, but I thought this one was way off the scale.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,442 ✭✭✭bad2thebone

I've no problem with facial recognition on the streets etc as I've nothing to hide or would I be drawing undue attention to my whereabouts. I'm not worried about where I'm seen etc.

I suppose if I was dodgy and upto something that's unlawful, having affairs etc I'd be definitely against it.

here is Fox News talking about how Davos was the gathering of the greatest globalists - in 2018 - when Trump was a great lad.

So .. caveat ... FOX news has an agenda and people like the OP get sucked in very easily

    watch

What Irish government, I thought it was a one world government?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,442 ✭✭✭bad2thebone

There's never going to be a one world government.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,442 ✭✭✭bad2thebone

It's not about Fox news it's about their story. Do you really believe these old guy's will achieve a one world government ?

I certainly don't think so, Soros, Gates and Schwab seem to always come up in these ideas, they never come to fruition. They're like the boy who cried wolf, Soros is 91 I think. On his last leg's, and the conspiracy theorists think he has the influence and power to change our lives, for their better. Not our own.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,931 ✭✭✭Allinall

The sooner facial recognition comes in the better.

I'm forever bumping into people who say "Hi Allinall. How's it going?", and i haven't a clue who they are.

The Watchdog (aka government elites) fined a private company (aka people who want to do things without elite interference)?

  • Subscribers Posts: 42,004 ✭✭✭✭sydthebeat

no conspiracy here, what they want to do is completely upfront and advertised.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,957 ✭✭✭growleaves

True in this instance. There is no secret plan to do malevolent and harmful things. They simply appear on camera before the world saying they would like to do malevolent and harmful things. So it's not a conspiracy, just undisguised badness.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,442 ✭✭✭bad2thebone

I don't trust them, but I think people have seen through it. Fox news has blown it out of the water. Tucker Carlson will have a field day with this one. CNN will probably spin it the other way, two sides of the same coin.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 18,386 ✭✭✭✭Dohnjoe

Too lazy to watch the video, is there a conspiracy in this thread?

  • Subscribers Posts: 42,004 ✭✭✭✭sydthebeat

world technological and economic leaders announcing what they are doing for the betterment of humanity...

like people being able to track their own carbon foot print and worldwide (including 3rd world) up-to-date diagnostics tools to prevent large virus outbreaks.

    OH THE ABSOLUTLE HORROR !!!!!!

All this is is the usual suspects sh!tting their pants at the mention of names like Bill gates, Klaus Schwab and George Soros... and fear mongering grifters like Fox news resident racist in chief Jesse Watters jerking him self off to it.

Except posters such as yourself tend to claim everything as proof. Restrictions forever became "this one restriction is proof"... Now COVID has become a preparatory thing for the real conspiracy...

This WEF is a sinister group of unelected people.

The Bilderberg and WEF have no authority in democratically elected countries. WHY elected politicians go here on tax payers money has always been a complete mystery to me.

Having looked at a lot of what they stand for, this is absolutely something that tax payers should NOT be paying for!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,442 ✭✭✭bad2thebone

Their like a bunch of Bond villain's. The future is built by us they say.....I suppose if one's in debt up to their bollocks and rely on these people to make it easier or less painful

You will own nothing and be happy... therefore you'll have no right of ownership if they have anything.

They think they'll own your will.

But I don't believe it'll happen, people like to own things, they work dam hard and to slave away for nothing will never happen.

But I'm sure some people would have no problem bending over and take it, and not complain.

Sure the conspiracy theorists never said this was on the agenda, if they did and it's online, it doesn't mean they predicted it.

Carbon credit system, they'll dock your earnings per mile, and if you get too cocky and decide to head further...the less your earnings....

You'll go nowhere and you'll be happy.

It’s the Davos meeting where two of our government puppets have headed to get their orders, nothing random about it.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,777 ✭✭✭Dakota Dan

They will need foot soldiers mehole and leaky are there to get their orders.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,120 ✭✭✭eggy81

Might get a living wage and be able to sit about all day playing video games. Odd game of golf thrown in and I’d be happy enough to be honest.

I lost you at carbon footprint, stay fast asleep.

Lucky you,I'll still have to work... but if you don't leave the general area, staying around will be the new foreign holiday. You'll live like a King, some of us will have to fork out a mortgage to go to Dingle and back. You'll drive nowhere, and we'll have the scenery... not you but the wealthy.... they'd get us out of the country side according to the conspiracy theorists....

Probably have to apply to go to the beach on a Sunday too lol I'm joking but if these villain's had their way, they'd control the planet.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,120 ✭✭✭eggy81

Isn’t this conspiracy normally tied in with the advances in technology and automation, to the point that pretty much all manual jobs will be performed by ai and robots rendering us obsolete.

Then we get a living wage and pretty much live out our lives doing sweet feck all. Some new form of futuristic communism but without the murder hopefully. Too good to be true really.

living on lab meat and dried insects and getting forced medical treatment as well as being restricted on where you can travel, sounds exciting.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,442 ✭✭✭bad2thebone

Absolutely, it'll never happen, there's nothing for free.

Year's ago you'd read about that on focus magazine and see it on the discovery channel, and tomorrow's world.

There's a time when scientist's said in the future we could live on vitamin pills alone, FFS but that was disbanded.

No they won't get their utopia off the ground, it's just more lies.....

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 18,386 ✭✭✭✭Dohnjoe

It's an economic forum, it has no legislative power.

Elected leaders go because it's an economic forum.

They stand for sustainability, economic recovery, promoting growth and cooperation, safeguarding the climate, food supply and nature. Terrible I know.

I've noticed you make bizarre drive-by comments stocked with conspiracy innuendo but never actually say anything

Is there a "one world government" conspiracy going on according to you, if yes, what is it?

I have absolutely no idea what the topic of this thread is. A bunch of conspiracy theorists just appear to be writing random strings of words together into things which vaguely resemble sentences, but it's impossible to derive the meaning of any of it.

They all seem to be happy "discussing" something, but not even clear if they are talking about the same things. Is this an example of the conspiracy theorist thread/forum utopia that they have asked for previously where they are free to discuss the conspiracies?

How they can claim to be discussing anything in this thread is beyond me as none of their posts make the slightest bit of sense.

Have you been asleep for the last two years ?

The conspiracy theorists were saying that the WEF and Co were trying to bring in a new world order and the sheeple, the people were laughing at them and saying it'll never happen. But looking at the latest development they're quite open about infiltrating our governments and getting their world view to fruition.

The same people who are suggesting you live on insect's and artificial meat and they're eating the best of food at Davos themselves. Flying in on private jet's clocking up imaginary carbon footprints.

If you are limited to 5k you won't be able to buy anything beyond that point. Your credit card won't work beyond your zone. I thought it was a load of baloney but it's on the card's.

You'll own nothing and be happy is their party line.

Is this the world you want ?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 25,842 ✭✭✭✭King Mob

But it isn't their party line.

That's a conspiracy theory factoid that you've swallowed whole and never looked into.

And have you been asleep for the last 20 years? Conspiracy theorists have been claiming one group or another has been on the brink of taking over the world for those last 20 years.

Before the WEF was the hot new boogeyman, it was the Bilderburg Group. Before that it was Agenda 2021. Before that the Bohemian Grove guys. Before that it was the Illuminati or whatever.

I'm sure this time you guys are right though...

    So why are you here?

What was the point of that post?

It paints an impression of a baby throwing a tantrum but not quite sure what it's meant to be frustrated about.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,777 ✭✭✭Dakota Dan

Nobody said they were on the brink they said it was being planned, stop making up stuff to suit your argument.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,442 ✭✭✭bad2thebone

It won't happen, they'll fade away into obscurity, a bunch of old men at the end of their game ranting and raving.

Do you honestly think Schwab s ideas are going to fruition. I don't.

Carbon footprint taxation, a load of bollocks.

Maybe they're trolling the conspiracy theorists. Maybe people are giving them at Davos too much attention.

Most people will get on with it, we'll still be driving around and have freedom.

Gates, Schwab, Soros and Co have no power over people.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,442 ✭✭✭bad2thebone

The conspiracy theorists did say it's a plan by the nwo or whatever..... but I don't think it's going too well.

Nobody wants a utopian 1984 type of society.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 25,842 ✭✭✭✭King Mob

Lol. Then conspiracy theorists have been claiming that these secret plans have been ongoing for 20 years. The distinction doesn't really alter my argument.

Also, in previous threads conspiracy theorists have been claiming that the WEF will be enacting their plan by 2030. Ie in 8 years. I would call that on the brink.

When do you believe their plans will come together?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 25,842 ✭✭✭✭King Mob

    lol Waffling.

You claimed that was their party line. Why do you think that? What did you personally do to actually see if that was true? Be honest now.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 18,386 ✭✭✭✭Dohnjoe

And remember all of the above is actually true. A Danish MP really did write a blog about some future scenario where she envisioned people owning nothing and being happy, and this one woman has more power than you can imagine. Despite all her disclaimers (to paraphrase) "yo mental people this was just a blog", we know this is the new global blueprint. That the economic forum which has been held every year for donkeys is actually a secret totalitarian party with unparalleled powers. That all this is being implemented as we speak. The rations of insects are being stockpiled. The world is already being mapped into zones. The "no ownership of anything allowed" signs are being printed.

And I don't mind so much, I am sure I can be useful in rounding up others to work in their underground artificial meat caves..
