I get to the webpage to tick terms and conditions but when I click CONNECT nothing happens.

    any suggestions?

Before I go into full troubleshooting mode here, do you have reception on your mobile phone? Bus Éireann uses mobile networks to connect to the internet from their buses and if you're in an area without mobile reception, the onboard WiFi won't work.

Good luck trying to figure me out. I haven't managed that myself yet!

It was on a route that I use many times and have always been able to to connect.

I don’t think my post above properly explained.

the page that opens to accept terms and conditions and to click “connect” just seemed to to dead. I could tick the box but tapping on “connect” did nothing.

it also happened on the bus that I switched to next but but was okay on my journey home. I had my phone shut off for a couple of in the meantime so maybe the problem was my phone?

Got it, thanks for the clarification. Could be something in the cache that prevented reconnection. I usually find that forgetting the network in the WiFi settings of my Phone and then turning on airplane mode for 10-15 seconds does the trick. That should be enough to clear the required caches, at least on iOS. Not sure how that works on Android.

Good luck trying to figure me out. I haven't managed that myself yet!

Try to turn the Bus off and on at least 3 times. but make sure to hold down the start button for 5 seconds each time.
