    Male - shower gel

Would a rag a on stick work?

You can also just use the bar on your hands to get a good lather going and then apply that to the area of interest, works just the same. Bars are superior IMO for most applications but I will definitely use some kind of dedicated face wash cleanser or gel until they come out with a soap bar that doesn't leave my face dry.

i use the same bar of soap all over; having a close cropped haircut helps. take two bottles into the shower? not me.

It's also less packaging and waste to use a bar of soap.

I've mainly used soap over the years since I have historically preferred baths, but at the moment on the gel since I go to the gym a lot and bars are just too messy.

Edit: Anyone know how to correct what Boards tagged me as voting?

I can't be having with shower gel, it's always highly perfumed which irritates my skin and I never feel squeaky clean with it.

I've used Simple Soap for years, unperfumed so it's great for my sensitive skin but it's getting harder to find. I couldn't find it in any local supermarket this time and had to resort to a bar of handmade Aloe Vera soap but at 3 quid for a little bar, I'm not doing that again. Found Simple online and ordered a barrow full :)

I’d doubt there would room firstly for all the huge containers… must be including male and female products about 30, you’d need big vats of each brand. Dozens of Litres of each would sell daily..

secondly health and safety as if that spills on the supermarket floor it’s slippy as fûck, someone ends up on the deck which is a very high probability, could seriously hurt themselves….

on the lack of room front - if they were to sell say 50L of shower gel daily, storing 125 x 400ml bottles would take up a lot more space that a single 50L container.

It wouldn't be one container though, those 125 people will be buying different brands. Every brand has a bunch of different options.

I don't think it's a bad idea but would take some buy in from people to give up the choices they have now.

    Soap is much better anyway!

The Body Shop now have reusable containers and refills available for some of their shower gels and shampoos.

Hopefully more places will catch on.

Soap bars for both body and hair.

Surprised how good the switch was to shampoo bars was tbh.

I was thinking about this after some women that I know were complaining about inflation. It doesn't take much probing to find that they are splurging their money on all manner of unnecessary sh*te products that they are convinced are essential. Especially cleaning and personal care products. Also, they and their families have every form of food allergy going and hence have "special dietary requirements" = more money. Swallowing vitamin pills like smarties because they have Long Covid. Regular visits to psychologists and therapists over a period of many years to "fix" their children.

Shower gel is only the tip of the iceberg.

I'd be a 3 in 1 man myself. Can you or anyone recommend a soap for body/face/hair.

First they came for the socialists...
