And it still doesn’t support two external monitors which is pretty ridiculous.

This is absolutely pathetic for a laptop in this price range. I wasn't wowed by the M1 Pro stuff when it came out as I don't like the form factor and don't need that power (does anyone not working in video editing need that?) so didn't fancy spending that kind of money. I was waiting for the M2 and I can't believe it still officially supports one monitor only, the price makes it far less of a deal than the M1 laptops when they launched too. They kept the touchbar on the 13" Pro too? If they gave me an M2 in the 4 port 13" Pro chassis and dropped the touchbar then I'd be all over that (depending on the price not being astronomical).

I'll keep going with my 2016 MacBook Pro for another year but Apple have got this wrong and if I had to replace the laptop today I'd probably be looking at going back to Windows at this stage. They still don't have a viable mid level laptop in their range after this.

2020 MBA went up €100 overnight for the 256GB version and €60 for the 512GB. UK price did not change.

Both the 2020 and 2022 MBA's (256GB) are now €75 cheaper by buying in the North. Indeed Currys UK have the 2020 MBA for £949 which works out at just over €1,100 or about €125 cheaper than buying off Apple directly.
