    Two for me today:

3:03 Lingers - Catch My Breath 6/1, CD winner, won LTO, PP is paying 4 places

3:38 Lingers - Mobarhin 9/4, CD winner, went close here over CD in the same class before, just 1lb higher today, back to 6f, all good.

    Morning j@u 😊 ,, good write-up there :D

Harbour Storm has won once and got placed twice in his 20 starts, now he's been dropped to minimum trip for the first time in his career, I'm not quite sure it's a good thing.

agree on HS, strange the drop in trip

Hey Ho Let's Go is also pushing career high marks, so not convinced about this one either.

is Class 6 so nae pushed about marks - high or low,, will hope he breaks well nd gets to the front early doors 😊

    There's money coming for Morty.

don't know much about Morty,, couldn't see him fwim, from looking at t'form, doing much here

g'luck to you j@utis in ur daily battle agin t'layers 😁

Mobarhin looks good alright for 3.38,, will hope Algheed makes running (but don't win 😂) , dropping in trip,, give Mobarhin summit to chase,, CD winner in Jan in Class 5 nd were unlucky when coming 2nd nto there in Class 4,, 2/1 a fair enough price imo,, good bit of 9/4 about too.. D Muscutt a good pilot

Mobarhin last,, burned too much petrol early doors methinks :(

can't trust ground conditions - must've been bouts of serious precipitation about today/last night; nowt around here tho,, soft/softish both Irish tracks - were 'good' when me looked last night

might quit puntin for a while - soft conditions/rain in some English tracks an all

Hey Ho Let's Go must have lost his steering wheel there 😃 ☹️ Wings Of A Dove wins at least; under a great ride from Willie 😋

Are ya 'kicking urself' j@u 😁?? or did ya farm that job out 😅

commiserations on no backing t'grey 🤣 HARD!!

Of course I didn't back the winner... Catch My Breath was out the places by a neck earlier. This is starting getting to me now.

We'll beat them in the end j@u - drinking tea/coffee nd smoking fags// + gardening and the like are ok pursuits, but punting is t'main draw for me as a diversion from the mendaciosness and t'mundanity of life,, we'll keep our peckers up, and "we'll go on" like what they did do in "Roots" 😃

had one or two winners on thread; many losers too - a losing day overall 😒 time for some circumspection 😋

    :)

Don't know about Havana Grey's progenies on soft ground,, laid jolly here for t'places at short proices in 5.40 Wdr

    ^^^

and a small win on Lahina Bay

    g'luck me ☺️

no joy there - fek it I'm done 😪

No real strong opinion or logic, and plenty can win this on form; but, for an interest later on, I'll take a flying chance on the drifting AMASOVA 11s win 7.30 Ponty for in-form Alice Haynes,, horse might (as well as plenty more 🤣) appreciate stiff 5f on good top of t'ground ground.

    g'luck nd gd night 🙂 :)

    7.45 Windsor

    WILKINS win 3s

One more nd dat's it 😃

    8.00 Pontefract

think gambled on jolly 6/4 Bavardages is vulnerable upped in trip,, has enough to prove imo; has never run over this far even,, sire is Dream Ahead so not so sure about 1m 2f here,,, place lay for moi 😊

7:00 Wetherby - Greek Kodiak 14/1, was going well until had nowhere to go last time out, that was the first run for the new trainer. What would you make of it, @[Deleted User] ?

    hi j@utis

not a clue !! if I had to say yay or nay, I'd be saying nay,, first run/new trainer, it looks good enough granted; but the horse aint never won [with a few attempts] over a mile (were a 7f race that one; which is, as we are wont to know, both as punters and listening to t'experts, a specialist trip) on turf,, Has gone close over a mile at Yarmouth twice on top of ground, but tough to make a solid case here. I prefer Jack Garritty to Dougie Costello as a pilot; Jack's on the stablemate, but, that's like just my opinion woman 😂

I really don't know - don't even know if the going will be good - good to firm, as it's now described (a lot of rain in a lot of places apparently)

Even if I knew for sure what the going was gonna be like, I reckon I could pick four here and possibly not get even one placer..

My pen landed on the stablemate of your pick in IT JUST TAKES TIME 28/1 . Looks even less likely than your pick, both on breeding and the fact he's mainly ran over sprint trips, and never as far as a mile. He was running on w/o winning twice last year over 7fs on good ground at Redcar and Donny, in July and June. Will chance small e/w in hope of a place.

hard race ya picked there 😃

lightly raced and yet to win 7/4 fav JACKMEISTER RUDI will do me here in Brighton 2 o'c,, conditions should be fine

    gluck :)

HUNTSMAN'S MOON 11/10 2.30 Bri,, Small win - very short price, but has the best claims here imo

    no joy at Brighton

back to basics - will go with a couple of massive priced outsiders ew,, no rhyme nor reason really; 'artistry' comes intee play here #smileyface

    small ew on these two

    5.50 Wetherby

    DREAM DEAL 100/1 , MIN TILL 50/1

will go with one in the single figures that looks the best value

    PANAMA CITY 6/1 ew

think the 5/6 jolly Kind Gesture is too short, and her second on her first and lto run doesn't read as well as one would hope, being as it were over 1 1/3f further,, might win, but not for me - have chanced a lay at ~ evs and place lays at shorter

will do me these - strange going's on (with going) makes it too hard to be motivated 2day 😝

    g'luck 😊

Jackmeister came up in my notebook but I looked at it for so long, i.e. long enough to change my mind. And he wins of course.

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,064 ✭✭✭j@utis

Thanks for your input on that 7pm race.

    I'm on 5:50 Weth - Lumley because she was raced over 7f and fav wasn't (although fav showed better time over 8f lto than Lumley);

8:10 Weth - Danni California because I backed her before and I think she can get an extra distance, of the same mark.

Unlucky with Lumley there j@u 😪 couldn't quite hold on

    looked at 8.10 Weverbee

Hellenista @ 2/1 might be vulnerable for the win stepping down in trip,, Danni California 5/2 has never raced even close to this trip on turf, so will leave her out of calculations

2 nons so only 7 go to post = only 2 places, but will chance one ew regardless

    TIGER SPIRIT 11/1 ew

two miles on top of the ground was prolly too far lto at Catt, but had previously won at Redcar over 2m,, that was her 2nd last run and on good to soft going,, looks like there'll be pace on here, and I hope she's in contention here for a long while over the 1m 6f trip.

    7.35 Wevverbee

Again, just 7 go to poohsst with abdication of no. 3 Katyusha

There don't appear much pace on,, No 7 Peripetiea might go forwards, but not seeing any other frontrunners,,

Vindobala is v short as best price 11/8 jolly here for this 10f Class 5,, showed improved turf form lto when coming 2nd at Muss over 9furlongs - that were Class 4 but didn't look owt special, tho the filly was running on strongly at t'end,, has a lot more weight on her back in this race as is lower grade,, she's young, lightly raced (at this sort of trip) but has many runs in total,, am thinking she could be too far detached to get involved here,,, not for me anyhoo

Saulire Star 3/1 is second fav and has marginally better claims under today's conditions (way the race will be run, mainly; I'm guessing there tho + light enough weight) than t'fav methinks,, could go well if she don't race keen, but, on evidence shown I'm - slightly reluctantly , going against her here,,

Fahey's My Little Queens 9/2 would appeal plenty if going were gd to soft/soft; down in grade from her lto Ayr win, but, again, overall am against,,

Will take a punt on one at a massive price in WILLA 40/1 NAP ew ,, some of her flat runs in June/July of last year, over shorter, on the turf and AW, would give her a squeak,, has never won in 24 runs in total (5 hurdles' goes included) , but does seem to go slightly better after an absence,, far from strong claims, but tis a whopping price and she shouldn't really mind how race is run 😊

    gd luck

    8.40 Wetherby

    YASMIN FROM YORK 7/4 win

FANDABIDOZI 8/1 ew , CLOUDY ROSE 9/1 ew

place lay on second fav Astroman
