Now if only we'd taken six of those points earlier on huh. Anyway, great score. Let hope Leinster can go get another.

Doris needs to sort out his hands and his discipline, both are appalling.

Real lack of balls on this Leinster team... when it counts they bottle it .... Shocker from Molony there

Fair play to the Bulls. They saw what La Rochelle did to us and decided that was the game plan.

In fact, I think they were even more effective at the tight, forward carrying oriented game than the French side were.

As for Leinster, I'm genuinely gobsmacked at how the season has unravelled in the last three matches. The weaknesses at the lineout and in the 'internal' carrying game were not obvious until the La Rochelle game, and they've been ruthlessly exploited in two huge knock out matches.

Thats the game. Some implosion at the wrong time of the season.

Big concern for the NZ tour now too.

No way that ball was out

  • Registered Users Posts: 17,300 ✭✭✭✭razorblunt

So poor from Doris, his ankle was held just get rid of the ball. Where was he going to go on a pivot into more Bulls forwards?

Why was it a penalty for the knock on?

  • Registered Users Posts: 92 ✭✭LRind2008

Caelan Doris is a mistake magnet ... hes a complete liability all over the pitch .... shouldnt be near that Ireland starting team playing like this

And this is why we have no chance v SA in WC

Ringrose had both hands on it. You can't do that then put it back.

Doris... FFS. He's had some shockers this evening. There were some touting him as world class on here, you'd struggle to find a backrow with worse hands. Major work on for him.

This, along with the La Rochelle game,is a performance and potential defeat that does not bode well for us internationally in the pack.

He called Maloney for not releasing on the ground after he dived on the knock on.

Embarrassingly abject today with so many simple errors. Awful stuff.

Huge questions now need to be asked of the players and of the coaching set up. That's the Champions Cup final and this semi final that we've not hit our lines in terms of accuracy of handling and in the set piece. Physicality wasn't so much an issue against La Rochelle, but it was a huge problem today.

Leinster had a massive advantage in terms of pedigree and big match experience, but were utterly dominated.

I genuinely don't know where we go from here. No trophies for the first time in 5 years. You're never guaranteed a trophy and I suppose this sounds entitled. But we should expect much better. And we simply haven't seen it when it mattered.

Partially agree, but who would you think is better player in all facets of game

Easy say it now but they should have taken 3 points when there was 10 in it and lost both line outs

  • Registered Users Posts: 92 ✭✭LRind2008

Need better coaches, talent is there , structurally in the lineout out and the scrum they look absolutely shite

  • Registered Users Posts: 13,007 ✭✭✭✭JRant

Sure just let them gibe away as many penalties as they like without getting a card out 🤷‍♂️
