    I’m glad that I don’t have to do them anymore. I hated them when I worked as a security guard back in Germany back in the day. Nothing worse than standing at the main gate of a US base in Germany in the middle of the night when absolutely nothing is happening. Pay was good though.

    LOL, well done, 100% correct. I found a great little military aviation museum there. Had a wonderful couple of hours getting shown around by a retired maintenance colonel with another visitor who was part of the SA aircraft industry when it existed. Some great reminiscing. Will try to put the photos up on the aviation forum later.

    Saw a protest yesterday calling for illegal bars to be shut down, apparently about 13,000 opened in the last 2 years with only 58 applying for licences.

    And we thought that the Irish were hoors for the drink:):)

    Chilling in front of the TV at home with my OH after a lovely afternoon meeting and catching up with one of my best (and my oldest) friends and his son over in Dun Laoghaire. They were down from Belfast for the day. 👍👍

    My mate’s son is a 15 year old budding sailing champion and was involved in a competition today. Fuel prices are just shocking now - if they stay this high, something will have to give by the end of the Summer.

    THAT was a tough nut to crack. I spent about thirty minutes scrolling around Madagascar, Mayotte and the Comoros before deciding to check out the west coast of Africa and realising that that's Sao Tome airport. You're getting a nice tour of the continent, I must say 😉

    Not much happening here beer-wise. Just taking it easy. Also waiting for a backup of my photo library to finish downloading onto my new SSD.
