    Bottom line is the general public simply couldn't give a toss any more, unless it affects it more directly, such as even worse hospital services than they usually get.

    The numbers don't mean much now, and they even admitted the other day when I was listening that it's not that number in hospital DUE to covid, but that number in hospital WITH covid. The vast majority are in with some other condition, its just that they have tested positive for covid. I'm guessing most are not struggling with the virus. Surely it's the icu numbers that are the important ones anyway?

    The media has really been pushing the rising covid numbers of late too. Especially rte, but no surprise there. They loved the covid. And are probably sorry to see people don't care about it anymore.

    They've been reporting the numbers that way from the start.


    Died "with Covid" rather than died "FROM Covid".
