If he waits until he's 23 he can go through Springboard!! Im not seeing an issue given he's 22, if he was 17 or 18 yes but there's other options for older students, unless true to liveline the story is missing something

If yer wan's little precious took public transport to uni and lived at home he'd be fine. I went from having limited sympathy for her to having none by the end of her call. He's an hour away ffs. I spend longer than that commuting most days.

having prison's like something out of the 1800's doesn't seem to work over in America, as the prisoners' often seem to end back in there. Having a phone in the cell is not out of the way to be honest

The problem with that woman is that she has gotten too much from the State & now she feels ‘entitled’ to it. He’s getting the grant, his mother should have been cut off then. Head over to the US & see what students get!
