Trying to buy a phone on the Lenovo Ireland web site. Digital River process their payments. All goes grand until I try to verify the payment via AIB. I don't reveive the SMS code. Anyone know where the problem might lie? Never had a problem with any previous online purchase.

MOD; moving to Banking forum, where it looks to be better suited.

    Error message displayed:

We are unable to process your payment. Please contact your card provider, or use a different payment method. You may also re-enter your information and try again.

    Something very weird just happened.

So, was trying again today, this time on the mobile. Again, went through the Lenovo order form, entered payment details and got to the banks payment verification form. Entered password and click Send Code. Received no code, same problem as before. Kept that page open while trying to Google the problem on the laptop. After about 10 minutes went back to the phone thinking to click on the Resend Code button but there must have been a time out. I clicked the Continue (AIB) button and the order went through. Without the payment verification code. How is this possible?

My brother had to go through Paypal with them lately to get his money back. They just kept pawning him off to an Indian call center who sorted nothing.

Yeah, rang the call centre. No clue.

Still don't know how the sale went through without a verification code.

Order form doesn't render in Firefox.

Pre-sale blurb says 1-2 day delivery. It's not until after purchase that you are told there is a delay. Took eight days to come, not good when you've broken your old phone and a new one is urgently.

Sent an after-purchase query. Not a dickie bird.

Phone itself has dreadful battery life. 5000mAh but lucky to get a day out it

    Can't recommend Lenovo.
