Was thinking of going in for the major but there’s a very low number of entries above the required 1300 rating. Wonder if they’ll combine it with the challenger? Good luck to everyone in the Irish Chp.

Many thanks for the reply. Are you allowing the under 1300's into the major - there are some 700's there as well?

I would guess they'll all get moved to the correct section before the event begins.

I think the usual situation applies with these events, and it will be the same with the open weekender.

Making a decision whether or not to play weekend events on the basis of advance entries shown on the ICU website is not good policy.

Lots of people who haven't entered in advance turn up on the night and some who entered may not turn up. That was certainly the case with the Rapid last Sunday and probably will be again with the blitz and with the City of Dublins if they happen.
