October sun/ holiday destinations - where would you go?

    This October will be a very special anniversary and we are looking to go somewhere nice.

    Looking to go for a week in and around 10th of October.

    Budget is a max of €2000(ish).We can fly from Dublin or Belfast.

    We are considering Turkey but have never been!

    Any recommendations for Greece?

    Perhaps maderia would be nice?

    There are so many places we would love to go but I thought I'd ask the lovely boards Community for some suggestions!!

    A nice hotel with good facilities (pool/gym)in a central area would be nice. We are active and like stight seeing and walking.

    I'm thinking Turkey would be a good choice but I dont know what area would be best at that time of year.

    Hotel Jardin Tecina, La Gomera....fly into Tenerife South and get the ferry over to the Island. Very luxurious. I went December and March and weather was amazing both times. Might be within your budget. Id not go full board, half board and have dinner down in the town, excellent fish restaurant.

    Beautiful island for walks and hikes, very lush and green. Very luxurious.

    South of France. Fly into Nice (flights are ridiculously cheap) then splash the cash on your hotel.

    Bus or train is great there.

    Visit St Paul de Vence (Google it), Cannes and take the train to Monaco.

    Grenada (Spain) would be very pleasant that time of the year.

    Within the budget I would think.

    Seville in October would be lovely. Still hot, lots to see and do.
